Saying on sky sports news we are close to signing ziyech for 38 mil and will join in summer any truth? And i guess if we sign him. can forget about sancho.

Doughuggem47

{Ed002's Note - Without going in to too much detail this is a Frank Lampard pick and an old player has assisted a little.}

1.) 12 Feb 2020 16:01:23
Cheers for the reply ed.

2.) 12 Feb 2020 17:30:34
Encouraging that it's a Frank pick! Thanks for the insight, Ed.

3.) 12 Feb 2020 17:56:43
Ed2 your input here is immense as always. I really appreciate the info you provide to us all. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

4.) 12 Feb 2020 19:36:33
what ate your thoughts on him ed001? haven't seen much of him.

{Ed001's Note - good skill, good technique, pacey, scores goals and creates chances when he is in the mood but has had a tendency to fall out with team-mates in the past. Seems to have sorted that side of things out under Ten Hag so looks a good option, though he can be a little easy to knock off the ball. That would be the big worry for me in the Prem, it is much more physical than the Eredivisie and Ziyech is not really all that strong. If he can adapt though, then he has the ability to be a menace and a half from the right.}

5.) 12 Feb 2020 18:41:45
Please Ed002; I need you to say that Chelsea is still very much interested in Sancho despite Ziyech looking a possibility (so that I can sleep with joy) . Thanks for all the answers that you have been giving.

{Ed002's Note - No, as I have explained unless there is a step change in the situation Sancho is not viable for Chelsea.}

6.) 12 Feb 2020 21:15:00
Cheers Ed001, appreciate your insight mate.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

7.) 12 Feb 2020 22:39:01
Thankyou very much Ed002👍.

Says we have made an offer for gedson fernandes on sky sports news 18 month loan with obligation to buy for 55 million.

Doughuggem47

23 Jan 2019 19:12:15
Dont know if anyone has seen or heard anything about morata i know its a loan deal to athetico but has there been any reports about the fee they would pay if they take the option to make the deal permanent in summer.

Doughuggem47

1.) 23 Jan 2019 19:16:35
i think i saw it was around 45 million.

2.) 23 Jan 2019 21:08:59
He can definatellt learn a lot from Diego Costa whilst playing there!

3.) 23 Jan 2019 21:44:46
what with Costa only scoring 1 league goal this season. Yep what a partnership lol.

04 Jan 2019 15:20:53
Seen on sky sports news that Bournemouth are trying to get solanke on permanent deal maybe frees up Callum wilson.

Doughuggem47

1.) 04 Jan 2019 15:57:10
no he replaces defoe surely.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 17:35:28
To ve fair Defoe didn't get many games so i doubt solanke will be coming to sit on another bench like at chelsea and liverpool i feel it is linked with wilson if we are really after him.

3.) 04 Jan 2019 18:25:33
i think if they were going to sell wilson for big money theyd be after a more proven striker dan solanke to keep um in the pl.

25 Jul 2018 21:05:43
well looks like we missed out on golovin Monaco president saying the have reached an agreement for the transfer beating Chelsea yet another one that gets away no doubt we will buy him next year for double the price.

Doughuggem47

1.) 25 Jul 2018 21:17:55
He's not goodenough for CFC and if the world cup was next year you wouldn't even if heard of him he's ordinary at best I'm happy with Jorge gee boy thanks far superior player.

2.) 25 Jul 2018 21:24:52
Barkley and Loftus Cheek or yet another player who blocks their path? I know which one I'd prefer!

3.) 25 Jul 2018 21:49:15
Jorginho, Fabregas, Barkley, RLC, Bakayoko. Golovin wasn't really needed. Add Drinkwater to the mix, or Willian, and we are fine.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 22:24:29
And mount to come back next year a better player after a year in the championship.

5.) 25 Jul 2018 22:52:26
We have plenty of midfield options. To be honest, we can't add to the squad until players are sold to make room. I also think people forget the potential some of our players have. Especially under an attacking coach.

6.) 25 Jul 2018 22:52:48
golovin was rubbish at the world cup don't think we missed put on much if he couldn't stand out in that rubbish russian team.

7.) 25 Jul 2018 22:58:14
Tbh Golovin was never going to make our midfield. Kante, Jorginho, Fabregas, Barkley, Bakayoko and RLC. That is 6 and not to mention Drinkwater. Tbh if we are going to sign a midfielder it has to be a top class signing, someone like SMS.

However, we still need reinforcements. Things seem to have stalled with Rugani and Higuain.

8.) 25 Jul 2018 23:30:35
Clearly this'll be an unpopular opinion then but i thought Golovin would've been a perfect fit to play as our 3rd CM. He can dribble past players, has great composure with the ball, very good with set pieces, can chip in with goals and has excellent work rate. I look at his game and he may not be world class in certain areas but he has a little bit of everything. Of course i'd rather see RLC get that 3rd CM spot but he hasn't got an end product and his work rate is questionable. Hopefully that will change under Sarri though. I still think we need another CM, Drinkwater and Bakayoko aren't good enough and we're playing in a lot of games this season.

9.) 26 Jul 2018 08:56:29
Irrespective of whether you all think Golovin would be a good fit or not, isn't this yet ANOTHER case of CFC losing out on an intended target? This is beginning to be a tiresome aspect of CFC's transfer dealings and it seems we can now add Rugani to the list.

10.) 26 Jul 2018 11:06:29
Dempsey in the same regard we pitched Jorginho from Man City’s clutches so it happens mate.

11.) 26 Jul 2018 12:00:48
Agree, Danny83, but I still think that CFC's Admin/ Board/ Whatever do not push hard enough for their intended targets.

12.) 26 Jul 2018 12:33:00
That’s fair enough but we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors if the player thinks he’s going to get more minutes at Monaco what can we do the Ed’s have always said the club won’t guarantee any playing time.

Hey ed just wondering a while back you said chelsea had an interesting proposal for athetico would that be to do with oblak and maybe negating the fee for morata to drive the price down.

Doughuggem47

{Ed002's Note - I am not discussing the defence.}

06 Jun 2019 20:49:48
Nobody else feel we have been severely ripped off 88m for hazard is a joke.

Doughuggem47

1.) 06 Jun 2019 20:54:21
He can leave for free in a year and it’s 88.5 plus add ons rising to £130m by 2.5 years, it’s actually great business considering contract situation. Coutinho had 4 year contract and left for around the same amount?

2.) 06 Jun 2019 21:12:12
Coutinho wouldn't lace hazards boots he the best player in the world next to ronaldo and Messi utd paid 80 mil for lukaku and he's dung if they wanted him they should have been made to pay more.

3.) 06 Jun 2019 21:40:03
But if they stopped negotiations we could lose him for nothing and have unhappy player in club for a season not giving it 100%? I’m not comparing the players I’m comparing one with long contract and fee and one near to end still getting top money. Money is only good if we can spend it tbf.

4.) 06 Jun 2019 23:11:12
I'm with Matt on this one. Given his contract situation, we done well to get the amount we did plus add-ons. You have to consider Hazard had no intention to stay at the club so keeping an unhappy player would have made the dressing room toxic.

Reporting on sky news that we have been given a transfer ban.

Doughuggem47

11 Jan 2019 19:14:53
Fabergas gone sad to see him go as he was a great performer for us i guess it means we have a replacement ready to come.

Doughuggem47

08 Jan 2019 21:58:26
So toothless bosses the game without having any real good chances really we should not ve worried about midfielders striker should be what the club are focused on.

To be fair Willian and Pedro are both on there way out at their ages also hazard could well leave so even with pulisic coming in i hope there is still space for CHO to play a big part for us.

To be fair most of the decisions to do with VAR have gone liverpools way this year only one against them can remember was a goal chalked off vs palace.

Doughuggem47

{Ed001's Note - there have been two armpit hair goals chalked off to Firmino alone. So it is certainly not just one.}

Mourinho is chelsea through and through id take him back in a heartbeat you could see how much it hurt him the second time we sacked him i would say we are always close to his heart i just want a manager who gives a damn about the club and not their career so for me frank or Jose.
