Hello Ed02.

Would you kindly enlight me with this concern?

Do Chelsea have any rebuild plans for our current squad like or similar to other teams ( Barcelona - Real Madrid) as many of our forwarders and defenders are aging (getting near or alrwady over 30) - and there are players that contracts are expiring?

Tks so much for your understanding and kindness.

Daton

{Ed002's Note - Cahila, Luiz, Caballero, Giroud and Green have contracts expiring. Higuain has a loan expiring but there is an option to buy him. Kovacic has a loan expiring but there is no option to buy him. Chelsea will be making changes in the summer but there no intention to rebuild in the way that Real Madrid and Barcelona are planning.}

Thanks ed, very much appreciated.

2.) 09 Feb 2019 13:53:47
Ed002, so many questions from your answer. What is the basic difference in the way we will be rebuilding compared to Real / Barca?

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest. It will lead to the usual abuse.}

3.) 09 Feb 2019 15:09:34
We’ve got to sign Higuain I don’t care if he’s 31/ 32 he’s a natural goal scorer there’s no one else out there. If we can sign Pepe for the right his pace would be brilliant for us. I’d like Kovacic to stay as rotation but not for 50m.

4.) 09 Feb 2019 23:16:02
keep Willy too.

5.) 10 Feb 2019 11:24:03
I hope the key point is bringing in the younger players on loan. At least 4 of them (Tomori, Mount, Abraham and James) would add something to the current squad.

Crazy rumour of the day: according to the Express, Fabregas considering moving back to Spain and the target club this time is Real Madrid. To make it more crazy, they state that Chelsea also want this deal to happen.

The press says that Chelsea is selling Hazard,Costa,Fabregas, Matic,Azpilicueta,Courtois,Cahill,Pedro,Oscar and Willian,plus Begovic and Kennedy.
The same press says that Chelsea will be signing Levandowski,Cavani,Pogba,Vidal,Nainggolan,Pjanic(already signed to Juventus),Higuain,Morata,Bonucci,Barzagli,Payet,Ronaldo,Griezmann,Koke etc.
Stop reading it and you will feel much better.
So many bs stories.

2.) 20 Jun 2016 13:14:19
Spot on antibot. At the rate the 'rumours' are spewing out many will miss the season start as they will be suffering from stress. Obviously there is some truth within the stories and I am sure we may well be surprised who leaves but as you say we are 'in' for so many players just switch off and wait.

3.) 21 Jun 2016 11:31:53
You forgot to mention Joe Hart who we're supposedly buying to replace Courtois!

4.) 21 Jun 2016 16:56:56
MC that's why I've wrote etc

Hi Ed,

Can I ask if Joachim Loew is considered as one of the target for the coach position?

Thank you in advance and if u feel the question is annoying - just ignore it is oke.

Have a nice day, Eds.

Daton

{Ed002's Note - He won't be available before 2018 so no.}

1.) 04 Feb 2016 18:07:03
Tks Ed for the information. I will stop dreaming.
My appreciation Ed.

If we could buy Aubameyang I would be delightful. Recently the rumour about him start to spread.

How u guys think about him? Do u like him or not?

Daton

1.) 24 Nov 2015 19:08:44
I'd love us to sign him but I can't see it happening. To be honest I'm not particularly optimistic about the January transfer window in general!

2.) 24 Nov 2015 21:45:34
Agree. I also don't think good signings will come from the winter transfer. Ex: Torres, Cuadrado.

The next summer transfer with a long term plan and the urgent needs will made the board do some business fast and more decisive than the last one.

3.) 25 Nov 2015 12:46:03
There are good deals to be had in January too. Cahill, Matic, David Luiz, Zouma etc.

Hi Eds, could you kindly share you thought on Lampard's coaching, man management and tactics approach? Does he play attacking football? Will he change the system we are building alot? Is he flexible or rigid on his formation?
Many thanks Eds.

Daton

{Ed001's Note - he has only had one season it is far too early to know if that is the tactical style he favours or just what he had to use because of the players he had.}

1.) 18 Jun 2019 08:46:41
The little that I have seen and read about Lampard's system at Derby County is that:

* Lampard plays a 4-3-3 formation that transits to a 4-3-2-1 formation- where his wingers move-in most times to plays as number 10s (so you see a lot of combination play between his wingers, his central midfielders and centre forward) . I am so happy that he plays a 4-3-3 formation.

* Like Sarri, Lampard's team plays from the back (meaning his central defenders are ball playing defenders) and press from the front. His style is similar to Sarri's in some ways but he sets up in a way that you can't catch him on the counter attack easily and his team moves the ball around a bit quicker than what we saw from Sarri.

* Without the ball, they are compact in midfield and quickly press to recover the ball whenever they lose possession of the ball.

* I don't know if Lampard will like to play Jorginho in the same position that Sarri plays Jorginho, hopefully, we will see what he does with the team soon enough.

I love 433. It's going to be exciting under lampard.

Guys, I realized that actually Barce bought Gomes with a very high price. So its not their negotiating team is that good. They judt do little bargain and accept the to pay the high asking fee.

Maybe Bayern or Juventus also do it with the players they need. that's why they always finish the business out of nowhere in a blink.

We try to buy the player with reasonable price - that's why the negotiating process is way too long.

1.) 23 Jul 2016 22:12:22
I agree that that is the case in some coincidences, but you got to remember deals like Salah and Willian, which pretty much came outta nowhere :)

According to the AS, Man U want to buy our Dave (Apilicuate) with 12 mil Sterling pound, haha, what a funny news!

Hi Ed,

Hope your well.

Can I ask about the "different role" that Terry mentioned in the new extension that Chelsea offered him? Any restrictions or sth like that? I don't mean about finance cause I know u don't like talking about it.

And if i'm also allowed - could i ask specifically if Chelsea hold an interest in Gotze. I saw your answer from other post but it doesn't show anything about Chelsea.

Thank you very much in advance,

Daton.

Daton

{Ed002's Note - No idea, sorry.}

Guys,

I did not mean to bring up any argument regard to the job status of Mourinho.

I just want to ask you guys for the coach who want to lead Chelsea after Mou era, your next dream coach - the coach you feel impressive with the playing style and whatever.

Personally, I think Pep is unimpressive. He also worsen the team that Jupp Heynckes built. I prefer Joachim Low, how about you guys?

1.) 20 Oct 2015 19:39:43
I think Simeone would be pretty awesome and would be my favourite to become our manager. I also quite like Blanc although he hasn't had much competition in the French league. I want to see us stick with Jose however.

2.) 20 Oct 2015 21:39:37
Actually I am leaning towards mourihno out campaign!

Just think have you ever thought of playing second (if not third rated) team in champions. league and be scared to lose?

3.) 20 Oct 2015 22:05:22
Rui Faria to take over from Mourinho in 15 years or so ;-)

4.) 21 Oct 2015 03:42:40
Great question, and I hope there to be another great manager around by the time mourinho leaves and I would want a team playing like bayern do now, but not Pep.

5.) 21 Oct 2015 08:55:13
I love Jose for what he's achieved at Chelsea but the football we play is awful. I would like someone like guardiola who only knows how to attack and bring a good style of football.

6.) 21 Oct 2015 15:34:24
Peps obviously a great manager but he'd only be here for two or three years.

Bit left field, but Unai Emery has done a very good job at Sevilla.

I think we will sign a good CB and a fullback.

Conte is not Mourinho. He doesn't compromise- give him what he want and he will ensure of meeting the demands of the club or he will go all raged.

He left Juventus when he was on the top because the club didn't invest and try to sell player and endure his Europian football desire.
