I'm just going to bring it up because its never mentioned probably because he's an academy player
I know he's been put out of position but levi colwill has been poor for a while now
I would of preferred hall of maaysen in that position
Manager maybe to blame to but he has been rubbish at lb for a while now even gusto who I think has had a very good start to his cfc career is better there as a right footer
Anyways just a thought.

gola, for whatever reason Poch didn’t fancy Maatsen as a LB. My guess is that LC got the nod as our LB because he gives us a better presence in the air defending corners and set plays.

As Chilly gets fitter I can see him becoming more of a LWB and in occasion us looking like we are playing three at the back with Colwill moving closer to the CH‘’a.

Gusto does look a talent but he needs to stop diving in. Generally players defend better the more they stay on there feet.

Gola, Hall has gone to Newcastle and Maatsen was an option but not used. I will judge Colwill when and if he is played in his natural position. Apparently Chilwell is fit now so the issue should be resolved.

LC has done well this season playing totally out of position, he made two very telling runs forward v Fulham, both from a lcb position rather than a lb position, once chilly replaced Sterling Levi looked a lot more comfortable as chilly tracks back to help defend whereas Sterling might, or might not.
I think what Poch wants to see (when injuries are not an issiue) is Malo and Chilly as right and left backs defending then bombing fwd when we attack, rather than just the right side as at present. Lavia will sit and create a back 3, Silva (who has played out of position at LCB to accommodate Disasi) on his right, Levi on his left.
Lavia for me is the missing link to this team being competitive with the very best!

Unfortunately if Lavia is fit and available which allows Enzo and Caicedo to be more attacking as left and right no8's, CG becomes a bench player to finish a game, not something I see him wanting, so he must be sold in the summer. Golding (from the acadamy), and looking good in his cameo will fill that void.
My feeling is Reece will be sold to RM in the summer (academy, huge profit) where he can shine weekly until CL pressure (or injuries) comes.
Now if we can just get the useless 325k a week diver/ non worker Sterling off our books we can start to be a real team!
