Matt, we will get what we deserve as a punishment. The rags are just guessing about the potential outcomes but there is not much we can do about it.

When we are punished, I wonder what comments will be made about the Roman Era? On that particular issue I won’t be moaning. I loved it.

Unless Everton get relegated it's not really a punishment at all.

Gola, why would you want Everton to be relegated? They have received a punishment which is quite severe.

I don't remember saying I want them relegated I said if they aren't then 10 points isn't any punishment at all.

Gola, I am sorry if I misinterpreted your post but I stand by my view that the punishment was sufficient: so you don’t think they should relegated?

Most seasons it would get them relegated. For city or Chelsea it would probably see them miss out on the champions league, but whatever team or indiscretion they should have no hope? Any transgression, no matter the differences should equal relegation or it wasn't a punishment? It's still a far harsher and more meaningful penalty than a fine.

As far as I know CFC have not been charged with any FFP or supposed Roman payments. My point is, if we are and if we are found guilty, let’s not moan about the punishment.

Lazy journalists, pundits and fans keep saying we should get “relegated” or a “substantial” points deduction for something we haven’t been charged with but self reported. It’s bizarre. Maybe it’s got more to with the money our new owners have spent in a short period of time.

Man City have apparently 115 charges to answer for as opposed to the toffees one. So it’s not surprising the City case is going to take a long time to reach a conclusion.

So if Everton get 10 points for 1 offence then City will get 1,150 points for their offences IF found guilty lol.

Most of the evidence against Man City will be "rejected" due to the fact it was "hacked" and therefore cannot be considered as evidence, very clever on Man City's behalf, so they will IMO get off scott free, even tho every man and his dog know they're guilty. Same with our Chelsea, Roman obviously did some dodgy dealings, but because "leaked" accusations cannot be considered as evidence poor old Everton will cop the lot. I'm not sure I agree with all this, tbh, but I'll predict now that Man City and Chelsea will get no penalties at the end of this saga!
Let's see!

Kiwi, I think both City and Chelsea will get points deducted. I think ours will be less than the 10pts the toffees got.

Maybe Tom, but if so I'd rather it be this year for us, get it over with, hence why I suspect Chelsea Co have self revealed past misdemeanors now, as the club, ultimately, will be responsible and punishable, so, why not do it in a year of transition where there is no expectation of performance.
The team have responded well in the PL, and are improving, against top opposition recently, we are alive in the League Cup, FA cup still to come. A trophy at seasons end would be amazing, but if we don't get there, so be it.
