That’s the team I think Lamps might pick . I would prefer seeing Werner in a more central position but some players need mins.

Playing Werner as a LW to accommodate Abraham or Giroud is wrong. We bought one of the most feared strikers in Europe to play him as a LW is borderline amateurish. Lampard's success this year depends on the world class striker we bought in Werner. His heat map may show he drifts to the wing but it also shows he comes straight back in.

Our LW needs to provide width and that is CHO for now.

Nice team gola, not a big fan of playing without wingers, everything gets so congested, obviously full backs can provide width but i'd like to see CHO out there providing space for midfielders like Mount and Havertz. I also hope Frank goes close to full strength, we are playing the spuds after all.

CFCShak, a lot of the time, Werner played off a big striker, like Schick of Poulsen. Werner was allowed to float a bit, mainly off to the left. we're not really accommodating Abraham or Giroud.

Perhaps it should be

Werner and Giroud/ Abraham
Havertz.

I think we need to play our strong lineup. I want to see Silva instead of Tomori. Silva needs minutes to shake the rust off. I suspect we will see Barkley play alongside Kante.

I really hope Werner starts up top consistently and gets the confidence going before we start shoehorning him into other positions.

I forgot cho my mistake so swap him for werner and werner for giroud in first formation

Haha Gola. Fair play mate, you actually weren't far off with your prediction.

Personally would have like to see Mount rested, this young man plays an awful lot of football. Atleast we can see him play in the Havertz position now.

Werner playing off Giroud is better than playing off Abraham. Giroud is miles better at holding the ball. let's hope Werner scores today.
