Saw on european page we went for konate of RBL before our transfer ban, read good things, haven't seen much of him or took much notice, few times I would look at for werner and recently Upamecano, read one of the Ed's talk well about him, hopefully his a target now, 6.4ft physical and I read he reads the game well, I read a comparison of who is better him or DU, mixed reviews, getting ahead of myself but Alaba and konate would add some height speed and muscle at the back,

Same Matt, only seen snippets of him but apparently he’s a top defender. Another French Cb to keep an eye on is Jules Kounde, I reckon he’s going to be hot property next summer. The French National team is packed with young centre backs. Bright future for us (French national team) but I’d obviously Iove one of them in the blue of Chelsea’s as well maybe Zouma can turn agent next summer.

What I don’t understand is why Alaba would want to leave Bayern Munich at this time (probably he wants more money; or he wants a new challenge) - I could be wrong but I feel that Chelsea likes Alaba but his demands could be higher than what Chelsea would afford. I think he’s perfect for any team that plays or wants to play a 3-4-3 formation; he could also deputise as a left back when he isn’t playing CB in a team that plays four defenders at the back; can shoot and cross very well; excellent at free kicks too- the player has got a lot of good qualities. Personally, I would prefer him to a Koulibally.
Can this dream be a reality? A central defence of:
* Alaba replacing Rudiger
* Ben White replacing Christensen
* Konate replacing Zouma.

Maybe he finds the league not competitive enough and wants a new challenger plus a pay rise lol.
