Looks like Tomori could be on his way to Rennes on loan.

Out of all of our CB's, Tomori would have been the one I'd liked to have seen stay. We all know he isn't perfect, but he's young and has a great turn of pace for a CB.

Hopefully if he does go out on loan it's not the last we ever see of him in a blue shirt. But on the plus side if we're letting Tomori go, surely the wheels must me be in motion to bring another CB in.

He looked very quick but understandably he lacks a bit of experience at Premiership level.

You could say, if you don’t play him he ain’t going to get the experience or you could take the view that a loan would be good for him now and the club in the long term.

If he is going out on loan, I would prefer it to be a Premiership team.

A loan move would benefit Tomori a lot. I think Hudson Odoi should follow suit and join the loan army too, it would be very beneficial to his career.

I certainly likes the look of Tomori too Bobby1905, and loved that goal he scored versus Wolves away, so trust we are bringing in someone else at CB, that Rennes is a loan deal and that he will improve further and come back to us.

I’m very worried that both Christensen and Rudiger will both survive. One definitely needs to be moved on this summer for someone better and the other one hopefully the following window.

I think tomori has a ton of athletic potential and would stand to benefit greatly from a lot of playing time rather than the odd appearance for us. I would happily bring in Ampadu to replace him and another addition to replace Rudiger/ Christensen.
