Ed047 mate congratulations on the win and I genuinely mean that. I like to think I’m a good sportsman and as much as things may hurt I take it on the chin. I think on the overall scale of things the whole 90 minutes you guys just deserved it that bit more.

Now, regarding Martinez catching the ball outside the area, I have seen various shots that he might have just in fact handled it outside the box, as usual I didn’t expect VAR yo come to our aid. I think the referee was poor, he obviously has something against us and I don’t want to sound like a déranged football fan that thinks there is an agenda against his club but I promise you the moment the players headed out the tunnel and I saw Taylor I turned to my mate who is an Arsenal fan and told him, Anthony Taylor is going to do everything but be fair to Chelsea in this game and unfortunately for the game that was the case. It’s a shame a ref can ruin a game and no repercussions are taken afterwards.

I fully understand that mistakes can happen but when he has continuously made mistakes not once, not twice but three times this season a lone against us is unbelievable and cannot be justified. That said I think Frank was right we weren’t good enough to win the final mind you Arsenal weren’t so great either but I think they perhaps just about deserved it as they clearly had a plan and executed it to perfection so good on them.

I think Lamps has been great this season, if I was given the option to either pick between top four or the FA cup; I would have said why not both, but heck I’d settle for top four. Been a good season overall, I’m fully aboard the Pulisic is going to be a star train and I’m fully behind the process. I looked at some faces after the game and some of the players including Pulisic had the look that they’d not lose another final at least not in that manner and I liked to see that. We are Chelsea, we win trophies, top four can’ not be the standards for too long.

Im not as mad as I sound, I fully believe there is more to come, we are signing really good players and hopefully after Havertz we can focus on our defence. Take this on the chin and hopefully this young side can use this as an inspiration and perhaps extra motivation to want to be the ones celebrating next season.

I didn’t agree with the sending off, very harsh for me and love Pulisic he’ll be a star. Hopefully the injury isn’t to bad. Wasn’t a great game but we did just edge it.

FA Cup or top 4, it’s top 4 all day long.

I’m guessing you’re hoping for a few additions to get you back on track as defensively your back 5 isn’t great.

I agree, Eli. Don't think we were good enough today to win a cup, but the manner in which we lost is painful.

Hopefully we can get something done for one or both of Zakaria and Rice, plus give Ampadu a chance. Get some presence and leadership on the pitch. And even though Ampadu and Rice are very young, they've got that in abundance.
