65.5% possession and 19 shots. That is the match highlight vs West Ham yesterday.

I re-watched the chances we missed in the first half. I have to say that we have to score a few from the those chances we created.

Giroud rebound?
Pulisic header/ half volley x2?
Mount x2?
Pedro x2?

I may have missed a few other chances which says we created a lot in the first half. Lampard himself has highlighted this area as a big concern right now.

What are your thoughts on this guys?

Seen and agreed Shak, but to be honest those were half chances. We never seemed to test their third choice keeper, bar the shot from Kova. Obviously we dominated the game but Westhams defence never looked in danger.
PS. You missed Zoumas free header which was the biggest chance for me and perhaps the one that should have broken the deadlock.

I don't understand why bat's didn't come on 1-0 down and no striker on pitch bit weird.

Agree Eli, I forgot that chance from Zouma. We need to start scoring a few of those half chances. Man City and Liverpool are devasting in this area.

Agree Gola, I think Bats should have started in my opinion. But I suppose frank thought CHO has the ability to create something from nothing and may have put him on for that reason. He has the ability to do it, however, the last few matches something has gone wrong. I can't put a finger to it, maybe confidence and the fact his lost his position in the team. He is definitely more than good enough as he has shown it plenty of times.

Villa will be an interesting game. They play very open and it will be end to end stuff. Must win game for us.

I agree with Eli in that a number of the chances we missed weren’t necessarily sitters (besides the zouma header) and that by and large we weren’t exceptionally threatening. I’ll admit to being wrong in pushing for giroud to start as he offered literally nothing. West Ham set up in a low block and begged us to send in crosses with their numerical advantage which we obliged. We needed to have the patience to play on the ground through that and get behind them with our fullbacks which we did not. This team will inevitably have bumps in the road and yesterdays game was certainly one of them.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I think it was a poor team selection in particular playing Giroud.

I suppose when we lose we look for reasons (some times harshly) why we have failed to perform. Over the last few months we have IMO been setting a high standard of play, it’s now up to the whole squad to get back on track and regain that previous performance level.

I always say to my West Ham mates, don't worry your season will turn for the better as soon as u play us, Think this is at least the 4th season in a row when they have beaten us to go on a better run.
