Pulisic not even in the squad. Hope it's true about him having a good attitude and good head on his shoulders, not sure how his going to adjust when minutes have come mainly v Grimsby .

I don't know if it makes sense to say that Pulisic could be suffering a hangover from not resting properly before preseason in otherwards, he should have rested more before returning for preseason.

Maybe just maybe, Lamps making a statement. Barkley behaving stupidly and Pusilic making a comment to the press makes Lamps behave like Fergie!

Lampard is unarguably not a very experienced manager as there are a lot of things that he's obviously still learning; so my question about this whole Pulisic saga is: I hope Lampard knows what he's doing in the way he's handling Pulisic?

Feel like he's being eased into the team by Lampard. We're talking about the BPL, it's the toughest league in the world and it takes time to get used to. Happened to Bernardo Silva and Fabinho were they weren't playing for a while but now look at them. Lampard's probably protecting him, especially when you see the criticism and hate Pepe is already getting. Potentially going through the same as a 21yr old who's just joined won't do him any good at all.

That's my point LondonBlues90; Fabinho was handled by Klopp (who is a top manager and obviously very experienced manager- the best) ; Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane was handled by Guardiola (who is also a top and experienced manager) . I guess we have to trust and respect Lampard's decision but I hope he knows what he's doing?

What baffles me is that Pulisic was doing relatively better than those players' (Bernado Silva, Fabinho, Pepe) start to life in the EPL then boom!

And prefering Mason Mount that is a 'midfielder' to Pulisic that is a winger for a wing position doesn't seem a good sign.
If it works out for good, thumbs to Lampard but if it goes sideways, 'thumbs up' to Lampard too.
