Ed001 do you think bielsa would be good for Chelsea I like his style of football and would there be any interest
I just hope it's not allegri couldn't cope with that conte style defensive football again I liked conte as a person though
Bielsa would be my first choice then the wolves manager who would you think would be a good choice.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know of any interest from Chelsea and I am not sure he would be the right fit. He is extremely volatile and would be almost certainly another short-term manager. I love Bielsa and he is a great coach, inspirational for other coaches in particular, but he wants things his way or he walks away.

I think Nuno Espirito Santo would be excellent, but I doubt Wolves would let him go and it doesn't seem like it would be the right time for him to want to leave them either.

Personally I think the best option, though would be difficult to get as well, is the Atalanta manager Gasperini. A fantastic coach who does not need to spend money to make progress. Right now, with a transfer ban, a coach like him, who is willing to work with what he has and improve them, is probably the best choice.

Failing that, I do love to watch Quique Setien teams and he is out of work. You would not have to worry about defensive football with him!!! It would be entertaining and, as a neutral, he would be the one I would most like to see take charge.}

Thanks Ed great response I thought that about bielsa headstrong guy borderline mad but that's what is appealing about him
Gasperini i don't know of him. but sounds like a good fit for what we need right now. so I will hope for him on your advice Ed no pressure, haha enjoy your day fella.

{Ed001's Note - Gasperini took Atalanta into the Europa League for the first time in their history a few years back and they gave Everton a torrid time. This season he led them to a Champions League place for the first time in their history and he has done it on a shoestring compared to the rest.

Have a good day mate.}

Gasperini would be incredible, his work with Atalanta is a miracle and he finds gems everywhere.

Gasperini also signed a new deal last week or so if I'm not wrong, Ed.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know but I did say he would be difficult to get. He rejected Roma recently. But Chelsea is a whole different kettle of fish to Roma. No one wants to work with that gimp Pallotta.}

Haha Ed like the reply.

{Ed001's Note - thanks mate, I dislike Pallotta. Such a dick he is.}

Ed 1 other thing are there coaches out there or managers that see Chelsea as a complete no no because of our recent record with managers sacking or leaving or court cases over wages and negativity from fans
Everything seems so controversial all the time
What managers if any did or have turned cfc down in recent years
Just curious.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know of any that see the club in that vein. Chelsea have got a very good reputation in that respect, the club itself tends to treat staff very well as a rule. Though a few ex-medical staff might disagree with that assessment!}

Thanks Ed puts things into perspective I'm very happy to hear that. media has a lot to do with negativity I suppose thanks again for response.

{Ed001's Note - the media like to focus on negatives mate.}

Ed, just wondering. What do you make of rumors suggesting that the club could look to Steve Holland to come in as head coach?

He's only worked as an assistant before, so wondering what you would think about a risky appointment like that?

Not that I think they'd actually choose him, but hypothetically.

{Ed001's Note - he has done well as an assistant but I would find it an odd choice as a head coach. Very good coach, but not sure he has the right amount of authority about him to make the step up.}

I'm thinking he'd be an excellent guy to get back if we were getting an inexperienced head guy in like Lampard for example.

But I do share you opinion that he'd probably not be the best choice.

I'm so hoping they can get someone good : ( losing Sarri is hard enough as it is. I'd love Gasperini but that's not happening. Nuno I'm not sure on. His Wolves team was impressive against the big guns when countering, but in matches they had to take the initiative they often struggled. So that's not ideal.

Sigh, never a boring summer at Chelsea I suppose.
