Well Europe league it is then. Another shocking 2nd half performance after failing to take our chances in the 1st. Alonso has 1 good game in months on Thursday and instantly returns to the starting line-up to go back to his usual self. Christensen has been our best CB when he's played but somehow isn't ahead of the two donkeys playing now. Giroud puts in a brilliant performance but can't get ahead of Higuain who's been shocking since he arrived and CHO still can't get ahead of Pedro despite offering far better end product when he starts.

I'd also put in Ruben not starting as well but considering he played 90 minutes on Thursday and is still recovering i'll let it slide. Sarri can't put the ball in the net for the players, we missed endless chances in the 1st half which is completely on the players. But his line-ups have been awful all season bar a few games and he's constantly put trust in players that have been making mistakes time and time again. We need to pick our strongest team in the Europa league now, that means no Alonso, Luiz or Rudiger, Barkley, Higuain and Pedro.

Unfortunately Sarri thinks they're part of our strongest line-up so i can't see it happening. Most importantly we need to pray our ban is frozen for the summer. If we're stuck with these players without Hazard next season, it'll only get worse. People can try and use our loans and youth as encouragement that the ban wouldn't be soo bad, even i have. But we know with Sarri the youth players and loanees we want to be involved next season most likely won't be.

I think Rudiger would be in most people’s strongest team and I’m afraid we have to stick with Higuain.

I do agree Pedro, Alonso and maybe Luiz could spend some time on the bench.

Well, RLC has just been withdrawn from the national squad because of injury, so guess it's good he hasn't been playing too much.
