So as expected the whole world is talking about the Kepa situation. Well as far as the matter is concerned its finished. Credit to Sarri for the way he handled the situation and adopting a different philospy successfully.

I would expect Kepa to start against Spurs. I can't see him being dropped or Sarri not playing him citing injury etc. It's important all of our best players play. Kepa showed massive confidence but obviously used it in the wrong way yesterday. Hopefully that puts him in good stead for his future development at the club. Confidence is key.

Its a no brainer that the squad that was employed yesterday needs to start regularly barring a few additions. Barkley for RLC and Pedro for Higuain. CHO and Willian debate will rumble on. Willian played well and maybe the occasion against Spurs will be too much for Cho's young shlulders.

Anyway for me RLC has to start, he has shown he is the heir to Lampard in midfield. With him in the side you can expect Kante to drop slightly deeper even though Kante in his advanced role is brilliant. He has shown that he is very effective. Barkley probably won't be able to cut it out at Chelsea, he will need to get used to more bench roles. Far too inconsistent for my liking.

{Ed002's Note - Loftus-Cheek is still not up to playing a full game which is why he has not been starting - but he is getting closer apparently.}

Thanks for that bit of info, Ed. Seeing Barkley start over him can be frustrating for fans, so knowing he still isn't fully fit will help in that regard.

Thanks for the info ED! I really hope he can stay injury free for the rest of the season. He can be such a powerhouse in midfield for us! Let's see what we can do at the Bridge on Wednesday against the Spuds.
