Even still I'm unsure sacking sarri will be the correct move. Who do we bring in zidane, wenger, Jose there's not one manager out there that could squeeze more out of this team. If sarri does get the boot then he only has himself to blame, his constant picking of alonso, his determination to get Jorginho in the team in place of probably the worlds best midfielder for the last 2/ 3 seasons. No plan B, same substitutions every week and his reluctance to give RLC and CHO more game time. Even after all these bad results of late I think with a couple of small changes could bring huge results in terms of performance. Kant must go back to do what he does best and sit deep in midfield breaking up attacks. CHO starts and we try everything we can to get this kid to change his mind about leaving. I keep asking myself the same question'if sarri was sacked who would replace him?
Zidane: I don't think he would be the right person but could help with hazard staying and as he's a huge name playing wise then maybe we could attract a better calibre of player.
Lampard: I'm not convinced he is ready yet but would bring a feel good factor back to the fans.
I hope sarri decides to make the small changes I have mentioned but maybe Nuno santo would be an option.
Premiership expierience, some really good performances against top teams and play good football. Maybe an option.

IMO a very constructive post, as always, BLUE.

My guess is ther will be substantial changes in the next transfer window.

IMO, the majority of the following will be leaving:-

Cahill
Luiz
Zappacosta
Kovacic
Odoi
Giroud
Higuain
Willian
Pedro
Hazard
and maybe one or two others.

Our board has big decisions to make, I hope they have a DofF in place sooner rather than later because I haven’t got a huge amount of faith in their ability.

I agree NWBLUE, who is out there who could take over? Sarri will be replaced either before Sundays Cup Final or more likely afterwards, the whole world can see that. You only had to look at Bruce Buck last night and it was in his eyes, trust me he is gone. As for your list of players out Tom it is just not realistic. Firstly, players with contracts are not always easy to sell on, secondly, with a possible transfer ban looming we can't just out a third of the squad and thirdly, with a new manager coming in who knows what CHO and Hazard will do.

G8, I don’t necessarily want some of those players to leave but the club finds itself in a position where it has to make contract decisions on players who have NO contract or just one year left on their current deal.

Could be an interesting window.
