I am a defender if Sarri and I was a defender of Conte.

Jose achieved great things at our club but on both occasions I had enough of his antics but also on both occasions I thought he should have seen out the season.

Abram Grant did better than I thought he would and he seemed like a genuine guy.

Football under Scolari was all over the place and with no shape.

Guss was much loved and he did very well in his short spell and we should have reached another Champions League final.

AVB was IMO borderline bonkers.

Benitez, never had a chance being ex Liverpool and his substitutions made Sarri's look dynamic. He did win get us another big European trophy and I think that means we are the only English team to have won all the major English and Euoropean trophies.

Carlo was probably my favourite and from the outside I believe he was treated shabbily by our club.

Conte had dignity and I certainly didn't want him to leave but his lack of commitment to our club by not extending his contract always struck me as odd.

I wonder what my analysis of Sarri will be at the end of this season when we have more silverware in the cabinet and we finish in the top four?

Now that we're discussing our former managers, I want to state I wanted Carlo and Conte long term. Like you rightly said Ancelotti was poorly dismissed and I also regret all circumstances that resulted in Conte's sack. You may feel he was defensive but he never got the backing he wanted which I believe put him up for squabble.
No matter how beautiful our brand of football is, no manager can last without success in trophies. That's my fear exactly when Sarri came on board. We're not only used to trophies in recent years but that's the way to go. Conte is a winner and I believe that he would have built a very strong side for us if he was backed.
As a Chelsea fan, I will keep on supporting Sarri even though I still have my doubts but if in case he leaves, I wouldn't mind Conte back hoping that the club will support him.
Just an opinion and you are free to share yours.

Very comprehensive list of managers, however you have missed out RDM.

Anyway since 2012 we have had AVB, RDM, Benitez, Jose, Hiddink, Conte and now Sarri. Averaging almost 1 new manager per season which bonkers. Obviously, we won during each change but that luck will eventually end.

David Luiz has backed Sarri and his philosophy and I agree with him 100 percent. Sooner rather later it will work and it will spell a great future style for the club. When Sarri does leave we should continue with the same philosophy rather than going back to defence.

Blimey Shak, how could I forget Robbie D.

Strange thing is I always considered him to be tactically inept but in the final he pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

Utmost respect to bloke and he will never be forgotten but I was never confident he would be a long term solution.
