Ed002 if i may what is your general overview of Chelsea and the current situation we find ourself in. What do you think or might know does the future hold as far as the board and management. Maybe what the end of year might bring as far as playing style or even what there expectation is of Sarri Do they wish to keep him as a long term solution. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure of what "situation" you are referring to but I appreciate the club lost to a good Manchester City side at the weekend. At this time the club are not looking to replace the manager/coach, but as I have explained someone, a third party, will be looking at the coaching techniques and will make recommendations if he deems necessary - this is not uncommon as an approach and Chelsea have used this process on a regular basis, often using the same person. The board are settled and may be supplemented by a Technical Director or a Director of Football if the right candidate can be agreed - bit don't expect a knee jerk solution of any type - they have spoken with, let's say, three people and there is no agreement right now. I cannot answer about style but there is very little in football that is "long term". Football is very high profile and has a certain dynamic the will see changes structurally far beyond club level - as there have been in the recent past.}

Your response is very much appreciated, Ed. That said, that answer does not fill me with hope. I fear there’ll be an even bigger gap between us and the likes of City and Liverpool following the summer.

I wish we only lost against a good man city side but we were thoroughly Dismantled. Most embarrassing performance I’ve seen in some time.

Thank you for that Ed. I think our club took a big knock when Mourinho left just because of how the whole situation went down. Players and Manager. Loverpool and City have a few years on us interms of style and squad building. I think we need to be patient and let it flow. Instant success is good but can't last for ever.
