hi guys, going to let you into a massive secret. never thought i'd be saying this. i AGREE with king kante, yes i know it's the shock of this transfer window. i agree, i hope hazard goes sooner rather than later; my reasons:

yes, he is probably the most gifted player of this generation to play for chelsea, but what does he actually do with all that talent? feigns injury, says he wants to play for someone else, has no doubt had massive influence on some managers losing there jobs and i believe he has downed tools on sarri already in my opinion.

when the chips are down i.e last match against arsenal, our nemesis, where was he? i can't actually remember hazard winning a match for us like drogba did or costa or the likes of salah, kane, aguero, de bruyne do.

i don't think winning or losing a game of football is really that important to him. he just enjoys playing. that's ok, but i like winners. people who hate losing, the likes of costa, lamps, terry and drogba, yes they weren't as gifted, but they gave blood sweat and tears. i don't even think he breaks a sweat most weeks.

im not saying i don't like or rate him, but i would put at least 20 players ahead of him in my all time favourite players for the club. he has scored 79 goals in 270 games, 17 were pens so 62 goals in open play from a world class forward, isn't the best, same goals per game as sterling.

mane has a better record, son from spurs has same record so is he really a truly world class player? when compared to messi, ronaldo, greizmann, dybala, imbappe, neymar, salah, even kane to some extent would have everyone of them before hazard.

bottom line for me is if we got anything over 75 mill for him, i would bite their hand off. he isn't really first choice, so no wonder he says he might stay or leave, because he knows its dependent on other factors. but make no mistake he wants out or he wouldn't keep going on and on. the club have done all they can, so Real please bid.

now the pelters and abuse, simply just my thoughts.

If hazard leaving meant we got 2/ 3 top quality players then it is what it is. But my fear is we wouldn’t invest well. Sell a world class star and end up with another morata drinkwater Bakyoko, is like him to sign and stay and add around him but I can see your logic,

Franco, you have presented a well thought out argument and I don’t think you wiil get bombarded with pelters.

He is a gifted player but my guess is fans are getting bored with the Real saga.

If you want to go just say so and then go with our thanks for many fine performances.

You get us out of our seat Eden but our club will always find other players us fans can rave about.

Hazard is a brilliant footballer who I would love at our club but he is only one man. Your problem is you don’t have a striker and your midfield setup is all wrong with Kante playing further up the pitch.

I'd love him to stay but the time may we'll have come for him to move on, or more pertainantly for the club to move on from him.

Let's not short change what he does for the club though. Only player in the premier league this season to be in double figures for both goals and assists.

He obviously isn't happy playing the central role at the club, he isn't backwards in coming forward about his preference for playing out wide. I would hope that the impending arrival of Higuain will push Hazard back to his preferred role in the side.

We've moved on from Terry, Lampard, A. Cole and Drogba in recent years and the club has survived - carried on winning trophies. But have we truly replaced them? I fear replacing Hazard might be equally as hard.

Spot on Gola, i've already said in an earlier post my patience with guy has run too thin.

Prior to him and Courtois coming to Chelsea there never was an issue of one of our players talking about another club when on international duty. But the pair have literally taken the mic, they have started a new trend. i wouldn't be surprised if Courtois still has an influence.

For me Hazard is replaceable, when we won the league under Jose and Conte it was the goals of Costa that made the difference. The amount of goals he scored when he had no right to score and the amount of 3 points he won us was superb. We haven't replaced Costa which is still hurting us. Hazard compliments a top striker beautifully.

We only appear to be a one man team because he’s head and shoulders above everyone else. Kante is on his level but is played out of position. Pedro and Willian have been pretty useless and our strikers either don’t play or may as well not have played.

Spot on with most though If he leaves we need a superstar who is a serial winner. I’ve always had a soft spot for Dybala. If we changed to 4-2-3-1 he would be class in that ten role. He’s creative, and has a better eye for goal than Hazard (Not as much this season funny enough) . He’s got a strikers instinct too which Hazard lacks. Dybala isn’t afraid to shoot. Going 4-2-3-1 would also get Kante back to a midfield two as well. We need to become a team again not a squad full of ego’s. I can’t see Azpi or Pedro being unprofessional. Hazard, Willian, Luiz and Alonso yes I think. I actually think starting fresh with a new team with direction is the right idea. I’d clear all the bad ego’s out. My only worry is that we’ll sell Hazard and get an average player in. Dybala would be my choice with Fekir 2nd.

{Ed0333's Note - Dybala is a supreme player. I hope you guys don’t get him ashes strengthen any team in world football.

He would be great Ed only 25 too and considering Juventus have made him their number 2 now Ronaldos there his attitude has been spot on.

{Ed0333's Note - he has a tragic backstory also. He was really close to his old man when he was younger. His dad used to drive him to training everyday when he was a kid it was a 70km drive and he did that every day for ages. Tragically Alfonso his father died of Leukemia when Dybala was 15. Dybala plays in his honor.
