Higuain deal is all but done. I am really excited. Can't wait for goals to fly in every direction.

You guys know I’m sad to see Morata leave our club and I have given the reasons many times why I wanted him to stay at our club.

I truly hope this doesn’t turn out to be a sale we regret.

look tom the only way to look at this fron our perspective is morata is mentally weak and just doesn't suit the premier league and the physical demands of it. he looks like a kid who can't handle the pressure of the pl he just looks cranky and moody when he plays and for me i think its best for both parties he goes and we move on.

Tom, I am still also a bit unsure about Morata. I was very excited by his skills (not least, but not only, heading ability) and movement when he first arrived, and of course the goals came to begin with. And he hasn't become unskillful -- I saw some excellent moments from him on and off the ball at the Southamton game, and he was unlucky to have goal ruled offside (but also missed opportunities) -- and he may well do very well in different league/ different system, and good luck to him if he goes which seems likely. But I agree that he doesn't seem consistently physically and mentally strong enough for EPL, and his stats nose-dived as he missed loads of chances. This form, and fact that Giroud not exactly prolific (though less game time) was risking top 4 place in v competitive season. What was to be done?

Not sure why people are happy with us getting Higuain. The guy is 31, overweight, and has a similar goal record to Morata this season.

trublu fair point but morata has played in a far better chelsea team than higuian has with ac milan i don't see higuain missing the chances morata regularly does give him a chance.
