Thanks for the kind messages guys, operation went successful. Recovery phase now. Hopefully it won't take too long before I'm pain free again.

Great result over the weekend given that it was a difficult fixture and one that we have lost more than we have won in recent times.

I'm happy for Alvaro Morata. His been showing glympses of what he can do for us recently. His a confidence player and I'm happy to see him battle the mental issues head on. His movement is so much better and more importantly his finishing his chances. His still got a long way to go but he is on 5 goals 2 behind the league's top scorers. Also Pedro is a class act in Sarri's formation. He compliments the formation, unlike Willian he is more direct and does not slow down our attacks.

Azpi is being targeted by a lot of fans lately. I can see why though, he isn't as fluid in the attacking phase, he isn't as comfortable on the ball maybe. However, he still can do a job regardless. What are your thoughts Ed1? Do you think his time is coming to an end?

{Ed001's Note - glad to know you are ok and it went well mate. Fingers crossed for a quick and full recovery.

I think you need Azpilicueta to provide balance. If he rushed forward and tried to play centre forward like Alonso does, you would leave huge gaps at the back all game. He very rarely gets caught up field, which allows the other players to just cover across when Alonso does. Also, I think he has shown signs of getting back into his game at full-back, it just takes time.}

Thanks Ed1, appreciate it boss. Hopefully recover sooner than later.

I see where your coming from with Azpi, it makes complete sense. I don't know why his being targeted by some fans but it seems silly given that his been quality for so long. Of course he has to re-adjust again too.

{Ed001's Note - judging by the sites on here, fans just like to have someone to scapegoat. On the Liverpool site it was Henderson, no matter how well he played he got abuse. On Arsenal it is Ozil, no matter how much ground he covers or how many chances he creates, he is still not doing enough for some people. Seems you now have Azpilicueta as the whipping boy. To be fair though, he suffers partially because he has set such incredibly high standards in the past that he is always going to struggle to live up to them now.}
