People discussing what chelsea need to strengthen our squad and it baffles me how some people say David Luiz can become good in that role. He’s awful. Clumsy on the ball, not quick enough, always out of position and apart from his passing he can’t really do much. Add that to the fact that he’s in his 30s he needs to go.

We need to sign a CB either in January or next year to replace Luiz and partner Rudiger, rotate Christensen and give Ampadu chances

Full backs is a sticky situation because I love Alonso and Azpi but I’m this formation they aren’t quick enough to press and join the attack and then get back in defence. I don’t really know what full backs are out there on the market so I can’t say who we should look at.

Our midfield is excellent at the moment. All I’d say is rotate RLC more and give him chances, Sell Fàbregas and Drinkwater as they are just blocking his way to the team. Also next ear make Kovacic permanent.

Wingers; if we can tie Hazard down to a new contract it would be amazing but I’m not so sure as I think this may be his last year. Regardless we need another proven goal scorer on the wing, someone who can take players on and finish to take the pressure of hazard/ replace him if he goes. There aren’t many that can do that but I’d go for Bailey next year. Pulisic and Zaha are good options but my personal favourite would be Bailey. So next year sell Willian to find a move for Bailey and sell Pedro as he’s getting old and we have Hudson-Odoi who can easily take his place.

Finally striker, Morata has started the season well but I’m still not sure about him. Give him more time, till January and then we can make a final decision. As for Giroud, I love him but this has to be his final year, he’s a great sub but as we haven’t loaned out Abraham, he should be out second striker or at least get some game time in the prem. Michy coming back next year, I’m not sure about well just have to wait and see.

If Azpilicueta and Alonso aren’t quick enough to press as full backs then RLC is quick enough or fit enough to press in midfield, Pulisic / bailey / Zaha would be brilliant, anyone although I imagine Zaha would cost a lot more, luiz is a liability and I think once Europa league games come and Christensen takes his chance home will push luiz out.

We’ve got so many players that need moving on. Drinkwater, Cahill, Willian, Zappacosta, and Moses for definable. If we can bring in Bailey or Zaha Willian should be good as gone. I’d sell Cesc now if we could so we could still get a good fee. His legs have gone for this league even with a sub role. Kovacic and Jorginho are creative enough too and have better all round games.

My targets would be:

ST: Icardi, Lewandowski, Kane (Dreaming there, imagine that eh? Sell Giroud, loan Tammy.

RW: Bailey or Zaha - Bailey for me as we don’t have a left footer but happy with either. Willian out.

LB: Ghoulam or Grimaldo - Love Ghoulam but hard dealing with Napoli, maybe give them Cesc or Willian as a sweetener.

RB: I’m struggling to find one that fits Sarri’s style which is the most important. Hate to say it but Azpi isn’t the player there for me. Look at what Walker and Mendy give City.

RLC might be physically fit enough to press in midfield, but is he mentally right? We have all seen how lazy he can appear and not looking like he's willing to put in a shift - perhaps that's why managers haven't given him too much game time, yet. I would love him to be our answer, but I'm not too sure at present.

Would keep cesc. No one has his ability to pick out a pass, whether u use him as a sub to change a game or start him against certain opposition .

No cesc needs to go, he’s getting older and yes he can pass but he can’t do anything else, can’t run, shoot, defend, press, nothing. He’s also blocking. RLc chances in the long run.

I would love Icardi, I’ve said it for months but I cannot see that happening so I honestly have no mice who we should target as a striker.
