Ed002 saying a side met with Lazio re SMS last week. Didn't get a deal, but might be considered exploratory. Could be one to watch.

Don't see it happening myself but who knows! Haven't watched that much of him but based on what I've read he would be awesome linking up with Kante and Jorginho. Surely that would give us one of the best midfields in world football.

If (and a big if), we can keep Courtois, Hazard, Kante and add Vecino, SMS, and a winger, whilst moving on Cahill, Willian and Drinkwater, I think this would be one of our best windows ever.
I still think Willian will go, Drinkwater too. Not sure on Cahill. SMS we wait and see. I think Vecino will happen, especially if Inter plan on adding Vidal and are already close to the wind RE: FFP.

Looks like SMS committed to Lazio for the year. Would love to see it, but probably won’t happen.
