Apparently Kovacic wants to leave Madrid due to lack of playing time now that's one player we should sign! Madrid fans seem gutted he wants to leave as he's Modric's heir once he leaves. He's a proper box to box CM and he's quite physical too. I think 50m would prize him away I'm pretty sure we could fund that too by selling Drinkwater and Cesc who don't fit Sarri's style. Cesc is great on the ball bur way too slow it's like playing with ten men.
Loftus-Cheek, Kante and Kovacic would be very good.

Just an aside; its funny that everyone now wants to play three midfielders (4-3-3 formation) cos of Liverpool and ManCity's success last season. Who knows if the incoming coach has 3 midfielders in mind.

Don’t understand why that’s so funny Obinna who ever you are don’t think I’ve ever seen one person ever agree with you’re posts. 4-3-3 has always been my favourite it gives the best balance between defence and attack.

Matt, I am quite sure of what I am saying. This fascination for 4-3-3 started even towards the end of last season before anyone knew about Sarri. I truly have no one in mind (don't care if anyone takes it personal) but this is my observation from the posts on this page.

What’s funny about 3 midfielders? Surely you wouldn’t want us to stick with 3 centre defenders? I’m sure it was you that said you wanted us to play more attacking football last season. Or maybe we should play 4 strikers.
