Salah and de Bruyn 2 of the best players in the world, talent that doesn't come along very often. Our scouting system and management spotted them, they wanted to come and they both joined.
What went wrong? Did they expect to play all the time because they knew how good they were? Did the management at the time not see how good they were? Did we get rid of exceptional talent because of someone's ego or the ability of someone to recognise such talent or both. They don't appear to have had any problems at other clubs.
Maybe they upset Vera the cleaner by not raising the toilet seat when having a pee, so we got rid.

What went wrong? One word, Jose: hseems to have no patience and no desire to invest in players, particularly those that need an arm round them. We are seeing his wonderful man management skills at United now and it is baffling. You also had Lukaku who he let go and has now paid £75M for. I know he won you some titles and his record is right up there but seeing Jose close up isn't filling me with confidence.

His ego has certainly escalated in recent years and his bizarre after match interviews were getting embarrassing for us although he was suffering the 'transfer' syndrome that seems to beset us every year and has had an impact on Conte. At the moment I would not have too much confidence in the Alexis Sanchez bit of business, 'can' win you a game but can equally be completely missing in others.

Not just Jose - we lost Chalobah last summer - we need to play our youngsters.

When you put very high short term goals/ expectations on the coaches we hire, they tend to play the players that are experienced that will give them quick results- which will mean less or no time for young players (which results in negative development for young players) .

Such a fine line here, it’s not a case of just playing youngsters when they may have talent but lack big game experience, I think the loaning of players works as long as once they have that game time we give them a chance, KDB was superb in Germany salah was great in Italy yet we never got them back to chelsea, Lukaku also showed at Everton quality, but he I think wanted assurances of playing time. With all the players we khave loaned there would always be ones who slip away, loftus looks good in spells but injured a lot, mushonda can’t get game at Celtic, Baker has hardy played, yet fans call for them to be at chelsea?
