ed do u reckon Chelsea still have long term plans for him?

{Ed018's Note - I’m guessing it’s to early to say but I believe so. I think it was him who pushed for the move for more playing time so if he can show he can deliver consistently I would think there’s every chance he will stay at Chelsea}

Trouble was he has poor positional sense, never challenges for the ball in the air and poor first touch.
Now whether is down to nerves when he was selected to play. Also the fact if he read the papers that the manager didn’t want him. He’s gone to Dortmund he was wanted by them and has played as first choice so his confidence is probably high.
This was the problem of spending 30m plus on back up young strikers they don’t get game time and they only gain confidence with game time.
Now the first three lines were my observation on Bats time at CFC. It’s sad as I wanted him to succeed and he’s a likeable player.

Think Dortmund a lot of attacks come from wide, they like there width so a lot of his job is being in space in the box, at chelsea we like our striker to be a focal point in helping the attack, hope he does well. Always smiled and never moaned publicly.
