Fabregas and Morata have been woeful tonight. Fabregas has constantly given the ball away, and let's be honest if his passing is not on point he offers absolutely nothing to the team. Drinkwater needs to play against any half decent opponent as fabregas just doesn't have the legs or any defensive capabilities.

Morata has also been woeful tonight, nothing sticks to him. Luiz just doesn't fill me with confidence this season either, he's making silly mistakes almost every single game and he was lucky not to be punished in the first half.

Get Drinkwater and Kante together in midfield for the weekend for all of our sakes in my opinion. I'd even start Batshuayi at the weekend and bring Morata on around the 70min mark.

Tonights result has been coming for a few weeks but we've just had luck on our side, tonight our luck is out and we've been exposed. Simple as that. Not good enough at present.

Morata hasn’t been good but the service is terrible, and conte needs to have good look at himself as this bakyoko cesc partnership is worst I’ve seen, cannot close anything and can’t keep it, confidence low with United next,

Conte is simply not inspiring players this season. Something is not right bts. we r 3 -0 down and watching Willian is frustrating. the whole team is just eager to get home. At best fourth position this season. Nothing more . I don't want to watch Europa league again.

Chelseaforlife, totally agree. We have to fight for a top 4 finish this season and the build from there. Being in the Champions League next season has to be our top priority now, with maybe a decent FA Cup run.

Willian ran and put in the effort which can’t be said for a few, we just didn’t / couldn’t get close to them, we couldn’t press them enough, and were sloppy in possession.

At times it looks as if the players had just met. As I have said before you can only play Fabregas against teams we will dominate otherwise I think Drinkwater has to play now he's fit and Bayakoko needs a rest as he is not living up to the transfer hype. Only a kid but could do worse and play Ampadou who is far more controlled. The back three are not working and making far too many mistakes, Luiz and Cahill do not work anymore. Up front we create but cannot put them away. Luckily for us Atletico Madrid are playing badly!

All about opinions but the only players who I would give a five out of ten would be Pedro and Courtois. The remainder would get a three out of ten or less!

Really? I thought Hazard in the first half was easily our best player. Created chances for himself and kept the ball well, in the 2nd half he just looked fed up and i don't blame him. I thought Pedro was good and Courtois definitely kept the score down! . Feel sorry for Thibo having to put up with that defence right now. Would be suprised if him and Hazard signed contract extensions any time soon.

Don't know but I'm yet to be convinced on Courtois hype. He doesn't inspire confidence like Cech did. Crosses up high seems to be his strength. Not to say he's bad but I was made bliv he's even better than De Gea but tbh he's far below.
The team was bad but very good keepers live on that. 1st and 3rd goals exposed his positional awareness which I have noticed other times.

I'm not judging him based on only yesterday but I have noticed that over time. I remember when we played so badly and ended up with goaless draw with Cech. You bliv its a goal only when its in the net because the opposition need to do well beat Cech but such confidence is not there now. Most of our goals conceded in Rome were outside the box. Exceptional keepers don't concede often in that position. Again close range reflexes are so lacking in him. I'm just not convinced yet about all the hype around him.
