Good win yesterday. Unsurprisingly we looked much more in control after the introduction of Fabregas and Hazard. Stoke were applying pressure, but apart from lofting balls in the box from set pieces they didn't really create anything. I think that's a testament to our defensive play as Stoke really possess a lot of quality attacking players.

One thing though. Crouch's tackle was a bad one. Easily as bad as Luiz' last weekend, and might've even been worse. How come it's mainly our players getting sent off for that type of challenge though? Cahill and Luiz were rightly sent off. But Crouch only gets a yellow? Same with Gueye's tackle on Cesc, Dier and Vertonghen's tackles against us. Where are the red cards when opposition players perform similar tackles?

I know there's no campaign or anything against us. But it is baffling how our opponents don't seem to get punished the same way as we do.

Agree totally, Jackson. I would say that Crouch's tackle on Fab was worse than Luiz - and Mark Hughes is going on that Alonso should have been sent off!
Also, Match of the Day didn't show the Crouch tackle and didn't even mention it in the post-match discussion. But it's lovely Peter Crouch, isn't it?! Crouchie and his robot dance - don't want to talk about one of the most disgraceful fouls of the season - not our Crouchie - disgusting bias.

Every win is a good win especially when you win 4:0 away, it has to be good win.
I don't who and who, but both Manchester clubs have 3 points more than us. But that's not a problem. The problem is that both clubs are impressive and confident. If we end up in top four this season that will be huge success. Simply competition is more difficult this season.

Let's believe that there's no campaign against us but from the way pundits are analysing and criticizing Chelsea this season, u can't completely say that there's no campaign against us (cos its sickening and boring) . I just hope the referees aren't caving into the pundits criticisms of and making it worse for us on the pitch.

A lot of the pundits don't want Chelsea to win the league but I guess we will prove them wrong. 😜.

Trouble is we have had this conspiracy theory for few years. We do come off worse. I didn't see crouch tackle but I think back to vertongans tackle. However the players we have had sent off deserved it. All we ask for is consistency. The interesting ones will be when we come up against city and Utd. See how we are treated then. Personally I think it is more about we have problems with 3 poss 4 referees.

The standard of refereeing in the Prem is truly awful.
Mike Oliver is the only above average referee and the executive who manage the referees never put forward any reasons for the poor standards and lack of consistency that go on week after week.
If the club, manager or player complain they are given a fine. The standards won't rise unless they except valid criticism and work on a plan to improve their standards!

We need video evidence - a video ref would have taken 1 video replay to see that Crouch should be sent off - 30 secs at most.

Video referees are a must for severe tackles and penalties nothing else or the game will lose its flow. Rugby is somewhat different being a stop, start game.

Miss Wood the video ref has been used in rugby for many years and yes it does disrupt the play a bit but if they allow play to continue for advantage reasons till it stops and then go back to check the footage. It will be giod for the game in my opinion even if it counts against us it still doeant matter cause foorball promotes fairplay.
