Don't want to over react about the youth after one game as I'm not like Joe Tweedie on twitter but I really believe we now have 3 players from the academy who will make it. They are Christensen, Loftus-Cheek and Musonda Jnr.

CHRISTENSEN has such a wise old head on young shoulders. He's not the strongest or the quickest but he reminds me so much of JT. Doesn't matter how physical or fast you are you still need to have a good football brain which Andreas does.

LOFTUS-CHEEK is creating waves at Palace even after only starting three games. He's already their poster boy and player of the month. They've had a poor start but RLC has been their standout player. We know how talented he is and him getting a full season loan under his belt will hopefully bring his work rate on leaps and bounds.

MUSONSA JNR has impressed me the most. He's fearless in what I've seen from Rashford when given the chance or Woodburn for Wales. He's got so much confidence and that's what makes me think he'll make it as he's had setbacks he's still stayed humble and wants to prove his point.

Obviously we have a lot of other good youth players but I don't think they're anywhere near these three. DUJON STERLING is an interesting one as he could make the RWB position his own in this system he's a beast considering his age.

Dead on with Sterling as well. He's got a tremendous amount of ability, and it'll be interesting to see when the club will loan him. Pace, technique and surprising strength.

Christensen might be the coolest man alive :-P He never looks rushed or panicked on the pitch. And even after the Spurs game he started during the interview he didn't seem fazed one bit. Was just like "we did our job, so that's good". Exceptionally intelligent and very very mature.
He'll start vs Stoke and City in the league now. And I do hope the fans don't start taking swipes at him if he makes a mistake. We have to back him fully.

Also, Wednesday was the first time I've seen Ampadu play. Holy hell he looks mature on the pitch. So calm even on his debut. He was ordering his teammates around, pointing out which players to press etc. Very encouraging display from him. He kept his own play simple, but the way he went about it all spoke volumes about where he stands as a player.
