am i the only one here not really worried regarding our transfers and actually don't mind going in to the season with what we have currently?

lets start with defense: rudiger, cahill luiz, azpi and christensen can all play in the back 3. if alonso gets injured azpi can play there. if moses gets injured azpi can play there instead. if u want to stick azpi in the cb u can put christensen or even rudiger in there. we have some versatility and just about enough depth in our defense so there's no need to buy anyone. were good in this department. we even have baba rahman as well who can cover for alonso once fit. besides, zouma should rejoin us next year as well.

now on to midfield. we have kante, baka, and fabregas. can rotate all 3 of them in a midfield 2 and even on a midfield 4 can put all the trio in there. even luiz can slot right in there if the situation comes to it. we should be fine there.

now the wingers, we have hazard, willian, pedro and musonda. 4 players for two winger positions. that's enough right there i would say. no problem in this department.

and finally the striker department. we have morata and batshuayi. if morata is injured i still believe we can count on the batman. but if conte wants to play a 2 striker system we can play hazard off of morata as the second striker so again, no problem there.

so guys, no need to panic! if we get in a few players such as llorente or drinkwater (dont really want him) then its all good. if we dont, then still, its all good, no problem. were going to survive this! we will not struggle!

I agree to some extent. I am pretty happy with the starting 11. From my point of view we have 4 world class players in Courtois, Azpilicueta, Kanté and Hazard and on top of that I believe Christensen, Bakayoko and Morata all have the potential to become world class as well, within a few years.

However, I am a bit worried about the depth of the squad, as we do need at least one more midfielder and striker, preferably a backup for Moses as well.

In general I agree. Would be nice to get some wing back cover but what will be will be!

When you're champions is the time to kick on and keep progressing not play a right footed cb/ rb as a left wing back. Or settle for players who may be better in a few years.
Where's the ambition?
If you stand still you go backwards, I like very much morata and bakayoko but we need more.

So if Azpi gets injured we have absolutely no wing back cover. Zero rotation for an entire (hopefully) 60 game season? No. It's not "all good" it's ridiculously lightweight. I'm all for trying to be positive, but that is simply not enough.

yeah exactly don't forget the january transfer window we will have another opportunity to buy players so its not all doom and gloom for the WHOLE season. i just think this current squad can survive at least by january!
