Brozovic apparently wanted to be paid more than Kante. Sounds like we dodged a bullet there, he is decent, but by no means world class. Fee was good value, terms were not. Wonder if we could still snatch Matuidi from PSG.

he is not even a regular starter in a very average Inter team, we have plenty of options in centre midfield and some very good young players coming through.
