I like Mourinho, but will never forgive him for getting rid of Betrand, Kevin De Bruyne, Mata, and Lukaku.

Imagine our team if we still had them players.

And we didn't hear you complain last season when we won the league.

@ Hazard54, I bet there are still other players like those ones you mentioned above in the team, but you won't know until they leave Mourinho's team. Even in our youth players but Mou is not just going to play to players' strength but convert all of them to defenders including Costa.

I pity players like Oscar, Hazard others alike. That's the reason he's a short term manager as players tend to fall out with him in the long term and keeps buying new players to replace of course the unhappy ones. So expect more players to leave.

Dastanj I actually posted last year letting rid of Kevin De Bruyne will come back to us, and was a supporter of Lukaku regardless of Ed2's comments about an apparent 'problem' there was.

I'm a Mourinho person; but I'm starting to believe he's not the long term manager we want. Then again, neither is Giordiola (who I want to manage our club)

I understand what you are saying man but it's all in the past and it's time we look forward to the future.

Bored of this topic as it seems to come up every fortnight now. Bertrand was very decent (but not top4 quality) at the point we sold him, plus we had the opportunity to sign what was the best LB in La Liga that year. Also whilst Bertrand is probably better than Rahman currently, I still don't think he's good enough for a top4 club.
We do miss some of Mata's creativity currently but when we sold him Oscar was on the rise and looked to be the better option overall.
KDB from what I remember wasn't training properly and was 4th choice and even had he stayed wouldn't have started in the no10 role and so likely wouldn't have developed as he has.
With regards to Lukaku, from what I remember JM actually wanted to keep him and there were efforts made to reconcile the situation but it had deterioted beyond hope.
I do get what you're saying but it'd not all JM's fault and had those players stayed they probably wouldn't have developed as much as they have. And if we're going to play the what if game. Imagine if Utd hadn't let go of Pique, Pogba, Ronaldo and Tevez.

05 Dec 2015 10:01:23 @Fuser, the concern is that we don't get to the best of our talents under Mourinho and we have so many of them year in year out because Mou's style doesn't suit them neither is it so appealing to us the neutrals, which is a hallmark of a big club. U sell a player who goes on to be better than what u have instead? Is Fab better than De Bruyne? I felt better watching Chelsea under Benitez with d three musketeers than now under Mou where we just win anyhow. We shall continue 2 be hated tagged bored with Mou bc his image is not appealing too. Sum all these and understand why he never lasted with a particular club.

@Nelsonho, I do agree that currently JM isn't getting the best out of our players but you just have to look back to the start of last season and you'll see that he is capable of doing so.

The point I was trying to make is that everyone seems to lambast JM for selling KDB and Mata but hypothetically let's just say that he didn't. That would mean Oscar playing out as a RW and KDB being used as a rotation option likely only ever playing as a RW/LW. In such a case he wouldn't have developed into the player he is now.
Do you honestly think KDB from 2 years ago would have displaced any of the 3 amigos in the starting line-up and got the freedom and run in the team that he got at Wolfsburg? No, which means he likely wouldn't be the player he is today and you wouldn't be moaning about him.

Finally not all player sales are just down to the manager. Sometimes you are forced to sell players by outside forces. Ronaldo was sold my Utd and he's better than any player they have. Pique is better than any CB they have. Pogba looks like he could become a world beater and is probably better than any Utd CM.
