Rather see city celebrating than the scousers. We will be back better and stronger next season. I hope.

Couldn't agree more. Glad this season is over, can't wait to see what Jose builds for next season. He now knows the players and he will know he wants to wear the blue shirt and hasn't got the heart of a lion. Time to enjoy the World Cup :) KTBFFH

Think Man U and arsenal will be very strong next year, see what happens with city and Ffp but sure they will still challenge. If we sign the world class strikers and Jose gets the system right then we will take some beating. Man U won't have Europe to worry about so think they will be the team to beat. Liverpool, can't help thinking had there best chance this year. Can see them challenging in another two or three years, once BR has got used to playing champions league and premiership in same season. Think at the end of the transfer window Man U Chelsea and arsenal and maybe city (depending on Ffp) will have much much stronger squads. There again I didn't give the scousers any chance this year, so what do I know.

Agreed. I do not want us to loose our identity I just want to play more attacking and exciting football even if it means taking some defensive risks. We do not need many players. Four max (two strikers, 1 defender and 1 midifielder)

If arsenal win fa cup don't utd get europa league? That will be kick in teeth, and I agree Liverpool had there chance, playing 2 games a week and expectation will be there downfall, matic all year will be bonus, pre season for Salah and good start to CFC career for shurrle Willian matic, now let's get our goal scorer

Exactly! Barring a miracle I think Pool will be back fighting for 6th/7th next year. They don't have the squad to play in multiple competitions and they don't really have the money to buy quality squad players. They only played 43 games this season! Maybe BR will do a Big Sam, and get them out of other competitions at the first possibility.

Also I believe we'll start taking more defensive risks next season, as hopefully, with 2 new world class strikers we can start outscoring our opponents ala SAS.

Also Matt87, Hull will be in the Europa league no matter what the result in the final.

Oh right,, wanted UTD to suffer a bit longer lol

So if we are here in 12 months having seen more of the same from a JM Chelsea side and he's picked his own strikers (or attacking defenders as the rest of the top teams would view them), would you guys be happy with that? I know, I know, Jose can do no wrong.

Next season is hard to call. We have a whole summer of signings to come so difficult to predict. That said, United you'd expect will do better but I still don't think they will make top 4 - just too much change required. Expect them to finish above Spurs but Martinez is doing good stuff with Everton so I expect them to battle out for 5th/6th. Top 4 the same but no idea what order other than Arsenal are unlikely to be top. I know Liverpool are being declared as one season wonders but they were playing great stuff at times the second half of the 12/13 season and I think they will get even better. I expect them to be competing in the fop 4 again and better progress in other comps. City have the best team and squad at the moment and play some great football. On city and ffp, fines seem an unlikely deterent when dealing with owners that have spent a billion already. I'm with Wenger on this. The FA should also do the same for the ELP, with points reductions for teams that overspend, not just for going into Administration.

I personally think Liverpool will be a one season wonder. They only played 43 games this season. They won't be able to cope with the extra CL games, and a cup run would be suicidal. Their squad is pretty woeful, as indicated by the fact that BR barely rotated, and they don't have enough money to buy quality squad players. Having said that, I'll wait to see what the transfer window brings before declaring them out of the running.
