Why? Who's to say that De Bruyne won't be given another number?

Well, he usually plays in 7 for Belgium and he played in 6 at Werder, 14 was his number at Genk, as far as I know.

I wonder what that means, will he get his preferred number? I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I think the fact he wore 6 at Bremen shows that he doesn't care too much about kit numbers
