when Chelsea's ban is either lifted or completed in your opinion what positions are in need of strengthening first through the transfer market. I believe CB would be one. i appreciate your thoughts.

Canadian, i have said I don’t think we will sign any players in the January window.

IMO given our current performances I don’t think a centre half is going to be a priority.

I think there will be decisions to make about certain players. Pedro and Willian are two that spring to mind.

If we do let one or both of them go I think the winger from Ajax could be our target.

Youcef Atal (RB/RM and a hat trick at LW) but not really ready for the step up

Mohamed Akandji (CB) Stoke kiddie for U20s and loan
Benoit Badiashile (CB) interest in taking him in the future but also interest from elsewhere - may drop interest

Bruno Guimaraes (DM/CM) Shakhtar Donetsk have been in discussions with the representative of the player (who they have a close relationship to) and Athletico Paranaense but the asking price is proving to be a major stumbling block. Napoli, Chelsea, Marseille (as a Gustavo replacement) and Kashima Antlers (who are competely out of the picture) have also a declared interest. Chelsea have discussed taking the player in 2020 with his club.} Giuliano Bertolucci is his rep.

Ben Chrisene (M) also wanted by Southampton and Liverpool have watched him but the club are planning on integrating Conor Gallagher (CM) in to the first team when he returns from loan at Charlton.
Romario Baro (RM)

Giovanni (AM) Santos kiddie wanted by Braga and Ajax - maybe one for 2020

Isaac Lihadji (RW) kiddie from Marseille who is attracting interest of several leading sides with Barcelona constantly pushing the lady from Marseille about the player - unlikely
Raphinha (RW) Chelsea, Leicester and Fiorentina have been looking at the Sporting player but he will join Rennes and will be watched further - unlikely.
Florinel Coman (LW/F) plays for FCSB in Romania - WP situation unclear

Emrehan Gedikli (S) Chelsea wanted the kid (16) in exchange for another player but BL said no - he would stay in Germany until 2021 - will be watched
There are two other German kiddies the club would not want named

Ed002, thanks for the super interesting information as usual and good to see Frank and co. already planning to integrate people like Gallagher who can be real assets. On the topic of younger players, I think you said at one point Reinier Jesus had been a target for us, City, Real Madrid and most of Europe- safe to assume interest in him has faded? And also interest in Leon Bailey is now gone?

Also, how badass is it to have so much information that you know of two players the club wouldn't want named. You must have some really great sources, Ed! :)
