Youcef atal linked, Â£35m, from what I read he was really good last season. And would be a top player, But his a RB, Azpi, James and now linked to atal. Not sure this one has legs to be honest imo, other positions need addressing,

Makes complete sense that we are linked to Atal. Solid player, I would love Atal and James at RB, maybe it's about time Azpilicueta joined a slower league- his performances since last season has being depreciating.

Football has evolved so much; to have a good defense and attack, I think wing defenders (that is 2s' and 3s') should be able to play as both fullbacks (defend) and wingbacks (attack) on the pitch. Make no mistake, I have complete respect for Azpi and his achievements for Chelsea, but I would rather sell him now that he still has some value and reinvest the cash from his sale in a player like Youcef Atal (that fits the description of a player being a fullback and wingback) ; and if Azpi doesn't want to leave, I think he should be moved to central defense (cos his pace has depreciated for a modern day rightback- who should defend very well and be able to go forward when need be) . A modern day wing defender should be like Emerson or Cancelo.
Besides Atal can play left back too.

Cracking player. We need quality depth regardless of James and Emerson. Atal and Telles would be great.

Bring in Atal to compete with Reece for RB and move Azpi to LB. Sell Alonso to make room. Atal can also play on the wings so he'd be a excellent buy for me.

Emersonâ€™s doing more than good enough at LB, Azpi has become easy to beat and complacent - imagine thatâ€™s be even worse out of position. Agree strength in depth just hope it doesnâ€™t affect Reece James.

Azpi is on the decline anyway and Christensen is far better on the ball and in the air. Azpi should be 2nd choice RB or emergency rotation at CB at best. Tbh id even prefer to see Tomori start RB against Wolves.
