The Times are reporting that Kante is not happy with his new position and will be looking to move next summer.

I sympathise with his view and have posted before that he isn't suited to an attacking midfield role.

Our most balanced midfield three is increasingly looking like Barkley Jorginho Kovacic.

It's a conundrum.

I am guessing a lot of people felt and still feels that Sarri should structure his midfield to be like this (with Kante preferring to sit in front of the defense as in) :

. Jorginho. Kovacic

but Sarri prefers the structure below (with Jorginho sitting in front of the defense as in) :

. Jorginho


. Kante. Kovacic.

Kante is indispensable, he brings a lot of balance to the midfield.
