There are conflicting reports on the nature of Kovacic's move to Chelsea. MARCA and Diario AS claim that there is no 'option to buy' while Sky Sports Italia's Angelo Mangiante as well as Evening Standard's Simon Johnson are saying there is one.

If the player wants to stay with us and he is already takling as if he has left Madrid it will be difficult for them to keep him.
I imagine Hazard will be involved in any conversation with Madrid unless he signs a new contract.
