Jordan Pickford our new number 1 transfer target. Hopefully the deal goes through aslong as the price isn’t astronomical. Real good keeper.

what would u call a fair price, am an everton fan like just wondering from the buying teams point of view what would u expect to pay?

Everton paid £30 million for him, you would imagine it would take a lot to pursuade them to sell, £60 million? Even then I’m not sure they will sell.

i think 60 would be a starting point, as u say we paid 30 and he's gone on to improve massively and becoming england no1, as a blue I wouldn't like him gone at all but would hope we held out for closer to 70 knowing u wer willing to part with 65 for Allison, the same Allison who conceded 7 past Liverpool last year.

Chelsea were not willing to pay 65m for Allison hence why we never made an offer!
Pickford is extremely overrated, he made a few decent saves during the World Cup and the British media have hyped him up into some world beater.
He is of nowhere near the quality to replace a keeper like Courtois . Anything over 40m would be paying well over the odds!

Agree with superfrank. I’d say he’s worth £40m max but given he’s English you’ll probs have to tag an extra £10m on it.

Whilst I believe he would be an awesome signing I don't think we should spend more than £40m on him. I understand why Everton wouldn't sell for anything less than £60/ 70m though because that is what he must be worth to them.

Forget Pickford, after the fiascos of dealing with Everton in the past. I would never deal with them again. Don’t forget the lukaku saga.
Go for Butland stoke will sell and not mess us around.

I know it's unlikely as Ed often says player swaps don't happen that often in football but I'm sure there are a few of our fringe players that they might consider taking off our hands helping to reduce the price and sweeten the deal. If there's any Everton fans reading this would that be acceptable to you? Possibly players such as Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zappacosta/ Moses?

swim, I like what your thinking but not those players . maybe take cash plus michy and maybe RLC on 2 year loan? that would soften the blow and maybe throw a Cahill in to really sweeten the deal haha.

As far as player swaps go, with tbo wanting to go to Madrid I'm really surprised I haven't seen tbo + cash for oblak explored? Was it and AM weren't interested? Seems the best possible outcome for Chelsea. With the added bonus Madrid then have to go for loris or preferably ddg, everyones a winner!

Yeah I mentioned that myself before Eden, that would be an awesome deal for us and I'm sure Atleti would be open to it as well as they'd be getting a very good keeper plus money. Shame it doesn't work like that though : (.
