Watching Kylian Mbappe's spectacular performance today against Argentina has made me realize one thing, which is- If there's a slight chance that Hudson Odoi will have a future; the board has to take it and give him a chance this coming season and let's see how he progresses from there. The young ones are very impressive these days. I think I see your point when you guys say Hudson Odoi must be given a chance.

i would rather Chelsea off load someone like Pedro and give his Prem game time to Odoi.

To think that Mbappe was a trainee with us, albeit for only a week when he was about 10.

We must start bringing some of our most promising youth, and Odoi certainly is one who deserves a proper chance.

Presumably Loftus-Cheek will be part of first team plans this season. Would still be sorry to see Willian go to United, but maybe I'm in the minority here (would be less painful to see hom go if it wasn't to a rival) . Last season exit of Matic replaced by Bakayoko did not go well.

Agree, taking the £50m for a move to Barcelona would definitely have been better.

My honest take on Loftus Cheek is that- he's a good player but he has to work on his game when he doesn't have the ball (though I think watching him for England at this World Cup, I can see his willingness to work on that part of his game) . He should mark more when he isn't in possession of the ball. I feel that at the moment he will struggle to play in a high pressing attack which is what Sarri will bring.
The other parts of his game improve as he plays more. He has keep playing regularly.
