Hi Ed001,

Would You be able to confirm either way if Chelsea FC really are interested in or negotiating for any of the absolute dross We've been linked with recently?

Dzeko is a quality player and for Me the only question mark is His age but Carroll and Crouch would be actually Criminal.

I'm hoping You can shed some light on this and any other info You may have on Chelsea's pursuit of a Striker.

{Ed001's Note - well there must have been genuine interest in Carroll as he had asked to be allowed to join you before his ankle problem was discovered. I don't know about Crouch, he does have an offer to consider from another Prem side, but I don't know which one. The BBC certainly believe it to be Chelsea though. Dzeko yes, during talks with Roma the question was floated as to his availability. It is perfectly possible Crouch was just seen as a short term, cheap and homegrown answer to tide you over until the summer.}
