Hey Ed001,

Do You know anything of Chelsea FC and Antonio Conte parting ways in the Summer and if so do the Club have any succession planning in place for a new Head Coach?

I think the Club need to have a system in place throughout all the age groups playing with the same direction and philosophy and appoint the Coach with this in Mind. This would surely mean less upheaval everytime a Head Coach moves on. Also over time it should help with bringing players through to the 1st team and saving money on transfers.

{Ed001's Note - I don't have any more than that, just that they have been preparing and are constantly updating their potential replacements. There has always been a chance Conte would go back to Italy very early on, so the club have made sure not to be caught on the hop if he does.}
