I do think that any signings made now will be an improvement. As long as the new signings put pressure for a starting posision then those players will perform better to keep there spots. We also need some depth in a few places.

We can never be are if they will all come off but I trust Conte to get the best out of them.
We've seen Dave and the Ox play on the left side but as it doesn't look like we are going to sign a natural left sided player I wonder if Baba might be staying for the whole season even though he won't be able to play for another three months.
From what we've seen of Baba in the prem he can't defend for toffee but I'm sure AC can work another Moses miracle!

Our starting 11 last year was never an issue our depth was, now we're adding quality depth apparently that's seen as a negative. Barkley is a young talent who's Bpl proven and Drinkwater as a Bpl winner, Llorente who adds something different and Ox who's an exciting young talent who covers a lot of areas we're short in. How that's seen as a negative is beyond me.

It's not like we haven't tried to improve either with Sandro, Van Dijk and now Mahrez. Like Conte said a while ago it's a long project, you're not going to get all your targets in one window and sometimes it's out of your hands. We're not a club like PSG ot City anymore who'll offer stupid wages and money for players to join and a lot of our fans need to realise that.

Mate that's Sky trying to run with a nothing story. They try and get people to place money on their Sky bets by saying all kinds of crap. Don't believe for a second that he'll end up at anywhere else then chelsea. Don't buy their interest at all.
