I might be very wide of the mark but if Oxlaide-Chamberlain is really looking for a move away from Arsenal, with Chelsea and Liverpool the 2 Clubs interested, isn't it more likely He would favour a move to Merseyside than West London.

If Chamberlain allegedly wanting a more settled Midfield role is true and a cause of frustration for Him then I would think Anfield is more likely to consistently offer that.

I personaly would welcome the signing of Chamberlain in part because of His versatility but isn't that part of His problem at Arsenal?

I really don't see this deal coming off, assuming there have been any.

I don't actually know if Oxlade-Chamberlain has a problem with which position he's played in at arsenal. I believe it's more his ambition to win trophies, compete for the league and play in the Champions League that he wants. Arsenal cannot offer him that (especially now Wenger is there for another few seasons) .

Oxlade-Chamberlains ambition is bigger than Arsenals and that's why he wants a move. If he moves to Liverpool that's just a sideways step, if he wants to achieve things in his career he should join us.
