Transfer window in England opened 9th of June and no signings yet! No wonder talk of Conte wanting to do one.

Roll on when the Nike deal kicks in. Because no photo shots or big announcements doesn't mean that work isn't going on in the background the trouble is far too many expect things to happen with just a click of the fingers. Be patient.

Very little business has been done or perhaps should I say announced yet. Don't forget that most of the top quality players were away on national duty till the last few days.

What is the deal with conte is he signing a new contract or are the club refusing his demands ie control over transfers and his backroom staff.

Click of the fingers is working for united and city tho.

We're not linked with anyone United or City have signed so why worry about their business. Nothing to do with Chelsea.

That is true nibby but it does make logical sense if this Nike deal is soon to be announced to wait before confirming or unveiling anyone that just seems the right way to do business, Chelsea will defiantly reinforce RA has always opened his wallet for the club look at what he's done for us why would it be any different now? everyone needs to just be a little bit patient has there is a long long way to go and id rather the club work on targets that fit the mould of Conte then just going for anything to say look we have spent 100 mil on players that are not of the quality that would improve the squad. also needs to be taken into account the abundance of young talent we have and which of them will now be integrated into the squad which is what we all want to see some of these prospects coming through and getting the opportunity's the squad can only be of a certain size so expecting a whole host of players is probably unrealistic yes man u and city have got a few over the line but i also expect them to sell a whole lot and neither have the amount of youth players ready for squad rotation roll that are of good enough quality i would expect 3 signings this year myself and any more then that will likely be replacements for players sold on so that being said anyone we sign we probably be of big significance and worth the wait. and whilst its not our money and no relevance to us its good to see the club not being held to ransom and paying completely over inflated prices the future looks bright and i think we will all be satisfied by the end of the window and have no doubts that Conte will remain KTBFFH and be patient much love blues take it easy.

Since the last January transfer window the club is up about a nett £100mil. We could also sell more players raising approx another £50mil.
In Total £150mil plus an average Chelsea spend of say £50 should give us around £200mil to sign some EXTRA quality players.
There should be NO panic amongst the fans and I'm sure the club and in particular our manager, are very relaxed about the situation!

Its not about just spending money, its about failing to get primary targets from last two seasons.
I hope this time we do get our primary targets.

If a club don't want to sell (like Spurs with Kane) and the player doesn't want to join us or live and work in London, that's not much our club can do.
All the club can do is be very competitive on wages and a fee.
We won't always get our first choice and anyway, any signing will NOT make every fan happy. I will not be over the moon if we sign Lukaku but he looks to be the first choice of the club.
