There's a very good chance Chelsea will sign this player!

Real Madrid and City are stalling because they WANT to offload their strikers first! (Napoli could play it into their hands by rejecting every offer we make unless it matches the release-clause)

Chelsea want the player regardless of players leaving.

It is alleged that it is the Napoli president ( not Cavani's reps) in London, meeting with Chelsea on Wednesday.

In answer to the above comment, you have to view the answer given about Real Madrid in context. Is anyone aware of the question that Cavani was asked? In a previous (televised) interview, Cavani openly stated that it would be a pleasure to play for Europe's top clubs and went on to make reference to both Pellegrini and Mourinho.

Let's see what happens.

Cavani is Good but to me he favoured madrid over us let's stick with with torres and lukaku now that we got schrule, if if it didn't work for ur, ee can always get a good striker for 50million pounds in january like we did torres.
