Our season wasn't about tonight. It was about, West Ham, Burnley, Bournemouth and Watford
Also, being the better team against Spurs and Man Utd and losing.
It's been a frustrating season but in recent years we have had our share of success.
I respect the views and passion of the majority of people on this site but what it has definitely shown me is how so many knowledgeable fans can see the same game in so many different ways.
I did tell everyone, at Christmas, that Conte would still be our manager at the end of the season.
So, now I'm telling you guys there is a 75% plus chance Conte will be our manager next season. I'm happy!

Hi Tom I no you have said conte will 75% be our manager next season but do YOU want him to be our manager next season? I’m split tbh. Leaving hazard and giroud on the bench last night wasn’t the thing that bothered me, it’s the 3 centre backs in a game like that surely conte could realise they would not be needed.

Yes Blinky, I want a period of stability and I would like him to stay but my post was NOT made out of sentiment.
I don’t think this seasons disappointments are all down to Conte. Some of the responsibility rests with the club and players.
Also, I’m not sure there is anyone better who would be available!

What last night demonstrated: 1. Conte can only set out a team to defend and play on the break - against Liverpool brilliant tactically - against Huddersfield, hopeless, Conte didn't have a clue how to break down the parked bus. Conte has to go - he's just not good enough to take us to the next level which is to match City, Real and Barcelona going forwards. 2. Morata is just not good enough - if any Italian club is really willing to pay us anywhere near £50m for this twonk, we should bite their arm off. 3. Pedro - sell him for whatever we can get or cancel his contract. 4. Zappacosta - see 'Pedro'. 5. Caballero - see 'Pedro' and 'Zappacosta'.
For anyone who seriously wants Conte to stay, please get in touch and I will give them directions to their nearest opticians and / or psychiatrist!

I like your comment Miss Darren Wood except the Morata part (he has explained to Chelsea fans what's causing or caused his dip in form from after our away game against Athletico Madrid in the UCL- which is a terrible BACK PROBLEM) .
I have often said that we aren't considering what other top teams are doing (fortifying) AND we need to evolve our philosophy of football to be more attacking (balanced- with a good defense) .
If Conte isn't to blame then who is? I think we should let Conte go and get a more attack minded coach (that believes in a strong defense) like SARRI (OF NAPOLI) and bring in some quality quick attacking midfielders to support.

Cant wait to see sarri at chelsea, bringing koulibaly along with him, and the likes of Mauro Icardi, jean micheal seri, zaha, sterling. and bringing loanee loftus cheek and charly musonda to the team. adding hudson odoi, ampadu and some talented youngstars for place in the europa league, offloading the likes of zappacosta, drinkwater, morata, pedro. and abraham move to newcastle for loan deal, with kenedy.

I simply can't believe Conte rested our best players this game, what was he resting them for, the cup final?, Newcastle? . This was a must win game and he starts with that line up, i couldn't care less if we played on Sunday, there was two league games left and we needed to win them both. More defensive mistakes costing us which has been the case all season, Christensen with some shocking marking and i don't know what Caballero was doing.
Season can't end soon enough, soo many players need to leave it's ridiculous. Credit to Huddersfield anyway, they deserved to stay up and although were wasting time on every opportunity, they deserved the draw. Everybody at the club is to blame for this mess, from the board and there pathetic signings, Conte and his ridiculous line ups and tactics and the players for underperforming and showing no desire this season.
Lastly i have no idea how Willian won our POTY, he had a short spell when he was performing but like always went back to being bang average. Kante is the only Chelsea player this season who showed consistency and effort every game he played. Hopefully we can keep hold of him as well, i reckon more teams will be after his services than Hazards.

why on earth we changed the line up which provided a good performance against Liverpool.
anyone would think Conte is looking to be sacked so he can ride off into the sun set with his wheel barrow of cash.
The squad needs a complete over haul in the summer and I am ever more conscious that the world cup window is going to cost us improvements/ signings.
Promote the youth, I would rather sit there and watch a group of youngsters bursting their lungs than some over paid pre madonnas who can't be bothered.

Antonio Conte, why would you change a team that was on high on confidence for? Why was Hazard and Giroud rested given how they performed against Liverpool?
It's well documented that tactically he is weak and this season he has proved it. The sooner he walks the better. Fed up of his constant moaning and berating of the board.

Why did Conte change the team - because he's a twonk! Cancel his contract NOW - he is tactically inept at attacking formations. As a player and then a manager with Juve and Italy, his whole history is one of defence and counter-attack - he has no idea how to break down a defensive unit.
He should be dismissed BEFORE the Cup Final cos he doesn't deserve it!

So predictable! Willian and Pedro are so inconsistent it's about time we got that quality RW in who can do damage. Mahrez and Bailey needed with Hudson-Odoi used as Hazards back up.

5 defenders 1 holding mid and 1 striker against a team playing 5 at back and 3 defensive midfielders
Why play 3 centre backs against a team that at most will spend 10% in that area
Play 1 natural striker against 3 centre backs in an area were 40% of game will be spent
