Believable4 Unbelievable8

Certainly Falcao! Don't get me wrong, the other 2 are great strikers but Falcao would be a goal machine for Chelsea!

Agree0 Disagree0

It would HAVE to be Falcao, incredible talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Falcao looks awesome as does cavani, and higuain has got amazing goal ratio.mbuti have faith in Torres next season with a decent midfield and wingers BLUEBOY1

is it true we are in 734million debt? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Thought roman took on the debt so the club was debt free.

Brilliant!!
So happy for Courtois, ive been watching loads of his games in the europa and liga bbva and he's brilliant.

He dererves the europa league title, and hopefully he stays on loan and can get some champions league experience under his belt.

I think we've found our selves the next premier league goalkeeper superstar

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Didn't Athletico sign him in the summer for 40m euro's? And I'm pretty sure Porto are still owed part payment? I doubt they are selling a man who has just won them the Europa League after one season.

Melbourne CFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea they did but that doesnt mean anything, same old story we look at a good striker and dont snap him up same with aguero

Agree0 Disagree0

Watched him a lot at porto. He is a goal machine!
Luke

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres straight swop for Falcao?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2012 21:02:16

This rumour has been flying around for a fair while, so i thought i might as well ask it.

Would Ath.Madrid be interested in a Torres for Falcao swap? {Ed002's Note - I don't know.}

Congrats to the youth side, on yet another FA cup victory.

09 May 2012 20:24:38
Well ED002 you probably may get asked this question a lot over the next few hour's so il ask again would Chelsea consider buying Falcao? or would his price tag now be too hefty? {Ed002's Note - There is interest in him.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

But he is not 100% owned by Athletico right ED? there is a 3rd party who own's part of the player isn't there? {Ed002's Note - He is owned fully by Atletico - he had third party ownership some time ago.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh right there are people saying there is still a 3rd party involved im guessing they would be looking for £40 mil plus for him ED? {Ed002's Note - I thought it was cleared already and I suspect they would not want to sell but that figure is maybe the minimum.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Man chity will be in with a stupid bit and we all know it same as aguero

Are Bayern Munich in talks with Giroud? {Ed002's Note - About him rather than with him - Bayern Munich made an approach to Montpellier a couple of weeks or so ago.}

How many more high class youngsters are we going to produce & buy, then let go either on long term loans or sell for next to nothing.
S,Sinclair,
Josh, Mc,
J Bruma,
G, Kakuta,
Y Tore,
P,Van Arnholt,
Kalas,
Coutois,
K,De Bruyne,
Will lukaku or M, Marin get a look in.
If you look at the players that still play on a regular basis, meireles, malouda, mikel, kalou, bosingwa etc... You wonder what kind of policy is being followed at the club. If your not going to let any youngsters have a chance, then don't sign them at all. We need a manager with the balls to play these lads.
Also good luck tonight to the youth team, who are 4-0 up after the first leg of the FA youth cup final.
Look out for Ferus, Piazon etc.. in the future.
Chelsea lady's also in FA cup final, treble would be nice.

{Ed002's Note - They will get their chance when they are ready.}

Believable20 Unbelievable1

Are chelsea still interested in Txixi Berigstrein (spelling) as a possible DOF ? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have a Director of Football - interest in Txiki Begiristain dates from a couple of years ago.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sinclair wouldnt of been gd enough, ive seen bruma play this season he deffo aint nothin special. van aanholt has struggled i prefer bertrand, kalas and kakuta are gettin sum 1st team football they need, mceachran has had a s**t loan at the swans. disapointed to see tore go apparently had a gd season. de bruyne & courtios well eurpopa league medal for courtios tonight, de bruyne will join us season coming. lukaku is a shame he didnt get more game time wonder why we signed him for what 18 million hopefully loaned to stoke next year would be perfect. as u said feruz, piazon, bamford look like their be right handfulls couple more yeays. next season iwanna see mceachran, bertrand & kakuta used and bled in to our first team. actually used nin games

If chelsea were to change manager in the summer, who would you think (not want), would take over.
My guess would be dick advocatt.
He's managed numerous teams in holland, zenit in russia & numerous national sides, inclusive of russia.
Also a good friend of hiddink, a consultant to Roman.
What do you think ?

God i hope not.....

Let us all not forget John terry has been a rock in defence for the last 10 years.Not many players would put there body's on the line week in week out.Also playing through injuries like now,as we are short in this posistion at the moment.He is coming to the end of his first team career and I for one hope he gets involved in the management side of things.

mY VIEW IS THAT DI Matteo will get the job on a 1 year deal with most of the old guard staying and when Guardiola comes out of his break a offer will be made for him again and if Mourinho wins the Champions league with Real next season then we will also make a offer for him...Think either one of those two will come in after another season to revamp this aging Chelsea side.I don't support it just think that is very likely.

Ed is there any truth to the rumour that JT will nOt be picked to play for England at the euros {Ed002's Note - I have no idea.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

He shouldn't get picked

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst I think Di Matteo has done a good job since taking over from Villas Boas I do have my concerns about him taking over the job for the long term; these are as follows...

a) Was the recent upsurge in form down to either Villas Boas leaving or Di Matteo taking over?

b) Has it been a case of Di Matteo managing the team or just allowing the team to manage themselves?

c) Does he have the experience required to overhaul the squad?

Believable7 Unbelievable2

I think a lot of it is simply that the players play better with there backs up against the wall, meaning great performances in cup comps but fairly average performances in the league (ending up with 2 points from a possible 12 against top teams). Di Matteo has not managed to get the best out of the players in the league at all, and for that reason i dont see how he can stay.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with you 100% mate ..i always supported the decision of his appointment till the end of the season but i don't support the thinking of him being the manager to revamp the team and i don't think he is tactically good enough to do that..saying that i respect what he has done for Chelea FC

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe i think Mr.Abramovic has told him,"You win the Champions league and you will get the job"The way we set up is also very much a cup way of playing ,playing defensive and grinding out results no confidence was injected by changing that after we got a few good results behind us. {Ed002's Note - No, nothing like that has been said. It would put unreasonable pressure on him and the players.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I don't think RDM has what it takes to become premanent manager. It has been a combination of the points you make and also luck

Agree0 Disagree0

Indeed. Personally I dont see hes been that good. We have played better and obviously the CL results have been fantastic - BUT look at the results against those around us. Arsenal, drew when we should have won - ditto Spurs. Lost to City (maybe expected), lost to Newcastle and to Liverpool. Regardless of where our thoughts are/were thats not good enough against our rivals to warrant a permanant position.

hey Ed, is there any chance we could land Gaston Ramirez in the summer?......he looks set to move and shouldn't be a difficult target for us. {Ed002's Note - Gaston Ramirez has been watched by Liverpool but I still remain unsure as to how strong the interest is from the club but would not be at all surprised if a push was made to sign him. He was available in January for about 15M euro plus a signing on fee - but Liverpool did not follow up on their initial enquiry. However, Ramirez will move in the summer with interest being shown by Napoli, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Palermo and Juventus, who have made a firm offer. Unsubstantiated rumours suggest Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested. Sevilla were interested but I understand that Ramirez has no interest in such a move. At present, Napoli are very much favourites for his signature. Discussions have now taken place between Bologna and Napoli - adding to discussions that have taken place with Juventus. Whilst Napoli are very much favourites for his signature at this time we cannot rule out Bayern Munich and Liverpool. My understanding is that his recent words from his agent about an offer from an "important" EPL club having been made has been clarified to say that he had been misquoted and that an offer is being prepared to be submitted by an EPL club. So he is not saying that he was wrong just misquoted and the offer is on its way - which I guess makes more sense. He also said he had spoken with a "significant" German team - which I assume to Bayern Munich but it remains clear if he contacted them or they contacted him. His final statement was that Bologna would not make any decision on the future of the player until the season is over - which sort of implies that Bologna have forced him in to all of this. So as before, don't rule out Napoli, Liverpool or Bayern Munich.}

ED do you know if Mr.Abramovic is interested in Jurgen Klopp(Dortmund manager)? {Ed002's Note - For what purpose?}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

ED002 i know you will not discuss who our next manager may be r if we will stick with Robbie but when will a decision likely to be made does the club have preferencs regarding the manager's job? {Ed002's Note - The decision will be made over the coming months.}

Agree0 Disagree0

When does Drogba's contract finish ED? is it june 1st? {Ed002's Note - June 30.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He will likely be going of on his holidays after the CL final that leaves the club 2 weeks to try and get him to stay ED is it very likely he will leave now then? {Ed002's Note - Putting aside any nonsense about holidays etc., the situation is still that Cheslea have made him an offer that will see him stay, but he has demands which Cheslea have no intention of meeting.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Manager to take over next season ? {Ed002's Note - What?}

Agree0 Disagree0

The purpose of Jurgen klopp you asked and i said to manage Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - I was confused by the question mark. Chelsea have a manager right now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea also have 11 + players does that mean we wont sign any 1 also orr damn !!

ED do Barcelona still have an interest in Luiz? ith Puyol now injured and getting older it seems they either want thiago silva or Luiz? do you know if he wants to move? {Ed002's Note - Thiago Silva is very much the target for Barcelona but may not be available unless a very high price is offered. Luiz remains of interest to Barcelona but I really don't know how he would feel about a move.}

Ed, now we have won the FA cup does that mean we have secured Thursday night football next season. If so am I right in thinking Newcastle could miss out on that too?
Also are you related to Chuck Norris?
Thanks Dan J {Ed002's Note - The seven clubs in Europe are Manchester City, Manchester United plus two of Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle and Arsenal in the Champions League and Liverpool plus the remaining two in teh Europa League.}

Baffles me that Man City and Man united are infront of us for Hazard when he is a player who we have been tracing for some time but due to some people at the club not making up there mind a move for him is still uncertain when will they make there mind up when he has signed for Man City?

Believable6 Unbelievable0

It’s not about making ‘their’ minds up. Someone at the club has reservations over his attitude. The footballing world does not revolve around this guy, and as far as I’m aware more clubs are beginning to question his attitude, which is hardly surprising since he seems to be saying he wants to play for a different team in the papers every other day. To be honest, I'm getting bored of it, Utd and city are welcome to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hoo-bloody_ray about time someone else realised what a gobby git Hazard is. Sounds a right nightmare. Wherever he ends up, the club will have to ensure he signs some kind of gagging order.
