He can talk to other (non German) clubs in January and can sign a pre-contract for the summer should he so wish. Dotmund would rather sell him on the cheap in January, or better still see him sign a pre-contract for the summer whilst they find a replacement.}

He cost Anzhi more in terms of wages each year than his transfer value. He was seen as a good option by the club including Mourinho. He has a one year contract and that will likely not be renewed. A number of options will be open to him.}
