any interest in loic remy? great striker, think he would thrive in the premier league, with anelka, drogba and kalou likely to leave i think remy would be a great signing

Ed, is Chelsea interested in Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea were keeping tabs on him and he may be one for next summer.}

hi ed does juao moutinho have a release clause, how old is he and is he still a target for chelsea? {Ed002's Note - No idea and it would be irrelevant, mid twenties, perhaps.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

How much would you expect he would cost? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea - why would it matter?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, his clause is £30-£40m and he's still a target because he can play CDM, CM, and CAM

ED002 Do you think Man United may be in for Gary Cahill aswell in Jan now as Vidic is out for the year? {Ed002's Note - I don't know if they would on the basis of what would they do with him afterwards. Benatia seems a more likely option.}

ED02 do you know who is best placed to get Cahill at the moment? {Ed002's Note - Possibly Chelsea but we will see what happens.}

Hi Ed

Is it true that rising start Marco Reus has a €18 million buyout clause in his Gladbach deal? From what ive read Gladbach wouldnt block him from leaving for this fee? It seems a great price for the potential this young player has, will Chelsea persue him in January?

Thanks

PB {Ed002's Note - Ignore the "buyout" clause. Reus has been playing well and has a growing reputation - enough to alert Bayern Munich - always thought to be his likely destination at some point. Bayern have been interested since the early summer although certain influential factions do not see a need for Reus at this time. Additionally Juventus, Manchester City, Arsenal and even his old club Dortmund have shown an interest in Reus, but a move in January seems pretty unlikely unless a significant bid acceptable to Gladbach is made. Chelsea had two people attend the Cologne match to specifically watch him perform and they may be considering a bid.}

Does the buy out clause come into play as we are not in the German league? The price is one that isnt significant in comparison with some other targets ie; Eden Hazard, how will they judge whether or not to bid for Reus? Does it depend on Kalou or Malouda being moved on?

Thanks {Ed002's Note - Forget the buyout clause - it is really not worth the grief of me explaining what they are and how they relate to release clauses etc.. The club will decide whether to bid or not depending on the input from several people and approval from the board - it will not be dependent upon folks leaving.}
