Ed002 I am not asking you about transfers often, but considering that Alex Sandro will be very difficult to sign for Chelsea, are there other left backs that Chelsea could try to sign instead?

Think it would be good to give baba a proper chance, I know he was suspect at defending but is still young and does have potential.

Good to know they haven't given up on Sandro, but think it will be very difficult to prise him away from Juve. Rahman is overcoming a serious injury isn't he? Would have thought another loan would be on the cards.

Rahman probably wouldn't be the worst option at LWB if he got fit. Good crossing, explosive athlete, good dribbling and aggressive. Positionally he needs some work and guidance, but that problem would be lessened by him playing wingback opposed to fullback.

Interesting that we're still persuing him after Juve have come out numerous times saying he isn't leaving although we have heard that before from them with previous players. Glad the board is still trying though as he's been the one most fans have been excited about. As a lot of people have said i reckon this could go down to the last few days of the window but it'd be worth it if we can get him.

Tonight's back pages are cancelo and cisse of Valencia and Monaco, ox chamberlain drinkwater, Danny rose, aurier and VVD, obviously not all true etc but does seem club are really trying to get bits done, apart from drinkwater and VVD it seemed quiet. Nothing on winger forward thou.
