Are Chelsea interested in Isco Ed?

{Ed002's Note - If Real Madrid were to make Isco available he would be priced at a level where all but a handful of teams could afford him. Real Madrid were recently discussing another player with Chelsea and I am sure he would have been mentioned if they were looking to move him on. There was interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the past, but right now I am not aware of any interest.}

He's signed a 6 year contract I don't think anyone will be dishing out the money to buy him any time soon lol

Hey Ed002,

In recent weeks You have been asked to provide lists of player targets for the club and have provided very concise details of specific players and I think I speak for everyone who uses this site when I say Thank You for Your time & effort in this endeavour, it's really appreciated.

I would however like to ask if Chelsea have entered into any formal negotiations over any of the players they are interested in? Of particular interest to Me are the Midfield targets.
Any info will be greatly received.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure how you think "formal negotiations" manifest themselves but the club has spoken with other clubs about players - with PSG over the sale of Luiz and discussions about others; with Atletico Madrid about Costa and others; Real Madrid spoke with a representative of the club whilst she was in Spain last week; there has been a discussion with Borussia Moenchengladbach about a player; Chelsea spoke with Nottingham Forest about a player; there have been talks with Sevilla, Dortmund and Hamburg and no doubt other I cannot recall.}

Who were we talking about with Borussia Moenchengladbach ed?

This has driven Napoli and Fiorentina out of any chance of buying the player. Roma, Real Madrid and Chelsea have made it clear they are interested - and efforts have been made to try and get Manchester City, Barcelona and other clubs interested so they can sell to the highest bidder. Generally clubs are not interested in auctions.}
